On pg11 of chapter 572, the sage doesnt show his rinnegan. i personally think his elder son took his eyes so Rinnegan + Rinnegan= Spiral eyes. cuz since his elder son was born with his eyes and believed POWER would bring peace, why wouldnt he take his father's power? Tell me what u think tho.

ummmmmmmm i don't think so. I believe that he just did not have it activated.

EDIT - besides, it was said that the elder son inherited his eye powers whereas his younger son inherited the body powers (strength/stamina/etc). So no need for stealing.
