Would you be the Leader of ANBU or Kage?

I know the Kage is in control of the village and has authority over anbu but
I would rather be the leader of the ANBU then hokage. Because ANBU are just badass. They take care of the missions that normal people would just deny. You command elite shinobi who will die for the sake of the mission in an instant.

Kishi has been trolling the anbu since the begining like in naruto. He just made them look useless and made gennin stronger than them. That's just BS

Here is why i think being leader of anbu is more badass and is one of the main reasons why the shinobi world is, what is it today ( if that makes sense -_-)

That's because kishi trolls them. If we had a mini series which involved the missions that the ANBU go through every day it would be 16-18 +. Look at how the anbu vs the pein i know they lost but their style and formation was badass and performed to perfection.

yea i know right. They take care of most of the dirty work. Like how itachi slaughtered his clan. Danzo said it wasn't just itachi their were countless ninja who did the same for the sake of the village. If it were naruto he would have just used talk no jutsu to stop the coup detat. Not very interesting is it.
Yea and the idea of working from the shadows and assassinations is just more badd ass.

yeah but as a kage your always answering to a feudal lord, and ass kissing to allies and such to try and keep the peace. yes you have a position of power but theres a lot of things to consider other than just what you cant do you also have to consider what you cant do. look how busy tsunade always is and how shes always upset she cant do what she wants anymore.

Wasn't their battle with Pain filler? Can't remember. I remember enjoying it in the anime, but I can't remember it being shown in the manga.

One of the most troll worthy moments, I think, is when the elite ANBU members jumped to go after Oro after his fight with the 3rd, Kidoumaru just owned them with his web, lmao.

They are a known group or squad that are strong that always portrayed as a weakling over very strong villains like Orochimaru.

Its like they are being used to say that these villains are that strong.

Yeah I understand that. But the Kage's still have more power that Anbu. And dealing with the feudal lords is politics. Mind games and manipulation. Same with the other nations. I would find that fun. I can live with that more so than having to blindly serve someone like Anbu. Kage has always seemed like the more desirable position to me.

Anbu leader would be awesome because of the missions you get to carry out. Kage would the title and position of strongest ninja in the village
