[Spoilers] Impressed by Zoro

Zoro has never been made vice-captain and no one ever adressed him as the vice-captain.

However in chapter 42 Luffy agreed that Usopp is second in charge of the ship if he ever chickens out from duty.

So if someone is vice-captain it's Usopp, because the captain said so.

well Usopp didn't do a great job at all as second in charge. I think the job should fall to Zoro (using the latest episode as my evidence why)

But still, I will always see Zoro as First Mate. He's the one who doesn't get emotional, for example the fight between Luffy and Usopp. Also the thing with Kuma, don't know if it's a good example. AND he told the team not to rely on Luffy's Powers only, when they fought Oz.

well if you asked 100 people what his position on the ship is then i bet at least 80 of them would say "swordsman"... the other 20 are hardcore fans who really pay attention to the show

I agree with Love Cook ... though Zoro is doing a good job reining in the crew. If Luffy never said it, then he never said it. If side-characters said it and it's never been verified, then until it's verified it's not true.

Then again, what is it with you people and the absurd amount of Zoro threads? He's one of the blandest Strawhats along with Robin. Franky and Chopper are far more interesting.

Zoro isn't the "Swordsman". (I don't even think there is a Swordsman position on a ship) Zoro is the Captain's First Mate and has always been, lol.

agreed, he has been fulfilling that job from the get go
his a lazy personality but when his needed he steps in, another example is of when he stopped luffy from going to ussop...even curly brows had no other choice than back him up at that time
