[Spoilers] Impressed by Zoro

Most people would qualify Zoro as "the swordsman" of the Straw Hat Pirates but, after watching the latest episode of One Piece, I would have to disagree. He immediately took control of the situation by tying everyone up and stopping the fighting. He didn't freak out over the fact that the Neptune Brothers were at the gates, but instead found the best possible way to handle the situation. So after seeing this episode and how Zoro handled himself and the rest of the crew, I would give Zoro the title of Vice-Captain...

believe it or not some people just enjoy watching the show and don't bother asking detailed questions like "who''s the first mate?"... they just enjoy the show and manga blissfully...

Zoro isn't the "Swordsman". (I don't even think there is a Swordsman position on a ship) Zoro is the Captain's First Mate and has always been, lol.

He practiclly is the Vice-captain. He was the second member afterall (luffy is 1st) so luffy trusts him more than anyone.

I don't ask those questions myself either, I just use my brain with a mixture of common sense.

Zoro has never been made vice-captain and no one ever adressed him as the vice-captain.

However in chapter 42 Luffy agreed that Usopp is second in charge of the ship if he ever chickens out from duty.

So if someone is vice-captain it's Usopp, because the captain said so.
