Hey guys, I'm new to the site, but I just wanted to get your opinions on a theory of mine. I've been looking around and didn't see anything similar, so here goes.
This theory is based around the SO6P and his sons (Naruto the younger son of the SO6P, who believes love is the key to peace. Sasuke the older son, who believes might is the key to peace. And Tobi is the Sage himself (I believe that the Sage never actually died and continued to live through some unknown jutsu, however it caused him to lose most of his powers))
Ok so....
After all the fighting Naruto has used up his time in Bijuu mode when Sasuke arrives to the battlefield. After a lengthy talk between the two they clash, Naruto using KM and Sasuke using EMS. After a huge fight Sasuke is victorious however both are still alive. Tobi teleports towards them and begins to extract the Kyuubi from Naruto. Sasuke witnesses Naruto in pain and recalls all the time they had together and begins to cry (or something like that lol). This causes Sasuke to awaken the Rinnegan and he forces Tobi to stop the extraction. Tobi then reveals himself to be the Sage and how after living for so long through war he has determined that the world will never achieve true peace, except through his eye of the moon plan. He then retreats with the Gedo Mazo stating that he will return with his full power.
Sasuke walks over to Naruto and restores some of his chakra (presumably using a Rinnegan technique), he then carries Naruto back to the Allied Shinobi base. He explains the situation to the Kages and that only Naruto and himself can end this war.
While Naruto and Sasuke return to full power, the sage is beginning to fuse his body with all of the chakra he has gained from the tailed beasts (although the 8 and 9 tails are still with their hosts).
After some time the three are at full power and they clash (the two sons clash with their father).
I'm not sure how to end it, but possibly all three would be killed, and Naruto and Sasuke are praised as heroes that saved the world from disaster. This brings forth an era of peace where all ninja leave together as comrades and the cycle of hatred is finally broken.
Sorry it's so long and yeah I know there are some loopholes, but it is just a theory. I also presume that itachi manages to defeat Kabuto and stop Edo Tensei therefore none of the Kages are killed by Madara.
