The Chidori works by quickly and swiftly
piercing and stabbing the target.
It's the same difference as comparing a bat to a knife.
If you attack someone with a bat it's blunt force.
If you attack someone with a knife it's a stab.
The bat may look like it causes more damage, but the knife is just as deadly.
