Hi i dont know if this has been discussed before as i could not find it. My question is why didnt itachi simply use Kotoamatsukami on tobi? I mean he is in possession of the best genjustu that would probably work on sage of 6 paths, hell even proffesor X. It takes no effort at all to use it and the one it is being used on isnt even aware of it, thats one great justu. Forget tobi he could have used it on any powerful ninja and he could have used it on sasuke to make him good etc. Now i have a few theories why he didnt use it but these are pretty much off the top of my head.
A) At the said time Kotoamatsukami wasnt activated and needed time to re-activate as it only works once a decade or something like that
B) In his weakened state he could not use it
C) It requires a fair bit of chakra which he did not have
D) He was saving it specifically to protect konoha which is idiotic IDK
Could someone please explain to me why he didnt just use it on tobi or any other ninja or a link to a manga page that explains it.
