Rasengan, Chidori or Raikiri?

If you could only use one in a fight, which would you pick?

I'd pick Raikiri.

Raikiri - assuming I can make all sorts of forms out of it (like the lightning-chain)

Raikiri is the strongest if they're all in their raw forms. But with all the updates/upgrades Naruto has given to the Rasengan, it is the strongest.

Yes, guy said they are the same thing - just Raikiri is Kakashi's version. In other words, he's worked on it more and is therefore stronger.

Of course, sasuke has done quite a lot with his too now

It's an easy pick. I could add any element I possess to the rasengan. Chidori and Raikiri already are element infused.

You're all (most) making good points about the different types.

Chidori (Class A) and Raikiri (Class S) aren't the same, Raikiri is stronger and more concentrated but very similar. Kakashi and Sasuke have both made adaptations to their jutsu.
Rasengan, while only an A class jutsu is just chakra with no element added, is badass. Way back when, Kakashi said that he'd tried adding his lightning affinity to it, but couldn't.

I'd still go with Raikiri though, Lightning-Chain and Lightning-Hound are awesome.
