A minor thing that annoys me about Guy.

Well, not Might Guy's personality, habits etc.

It's just I've noticed occasionally on here (95% of people obviously know otherwise, but the minority irritate me) since I joined and from a few discussions on other sources and with a couple people I know.

Why is it that some people believe that Might Guy (like Lee) is uncapable of performing ninjutsu? Again, for those that know otherwise, please don't post manga references, I know most of you are observant enough to know otherwise. Proof he can use ninjutsu. Obviously his taijutsu is superior, otherwise he wouldn't solely rely on it in battle. (that we know of).

For instance, Volume 54 (Amazon gave me an early dispatch! Sweeeeeet!). Might Guy, when chasing after the fleeing Kisame is launched by Killer Bee and uses the summoning jutsu to summon one of his turtles to use as a springboards of sorts.

I believe he also helps Kakashi to 'release' the jutsu which put people to sleep during Orochimaru's invasion of Konoha. I'm not sure of the manga reference, I've only read from the Pain arc onwards and Volumes 1-7 (I recently bought ALL volumes to read what I otherwise watched on the anime! haha!)

what i wanna know is...is there a bug turtle summon like gamabunta that he can summon? and why can't kakashi summon the dog that split, like pein??

but anyway, i do agree Gai can use ninjutsu i think, and genjutsu. but very little...lol

Yeah he might not be amazing at either to our knowledge. But he definitely can!

Funny if he summoned the biggest turtle, the 3 tails!! Haha! That would be classic reading!

I know it would never happen though.

And for the dog thing, that's the rinnegans ability to summon those.

I thought he meant the ninja hounds! haha!

Oh yeah, the three headed dog is Pain's rinnegan summoning! I believe it is exclusive to Pain at the moment, unless Tobi recovered it's body!

Exactly! Plus, his taijutsu and taijutsu based special attacks are at the moment second to none!

Guy has Ninjutsu, he didn't use it much from what we know since he's Taijutsu specialist but I''m pretty sure it's also one of his ways to support Lee as much as he can :|

I've often thought that! It conveys to Lee that it is possible to be a 'splendid ninja' without ninjutsu! haha!

Nope, It's not a requirement at all
You can be a Jonin with no chakra transformation at all.
He only said that usually , at that level you have control over 2-3

it's not very little. The most recent databook gives him a 3 in both. that means he's good at it. Not the best of course, but he's effective. I hate when people say that he doesn't know gen and nin too.
