Are vs threads pretty pointless?

A lot of ninja have the power to kill each other. A lot of the time it comes down to wit and intel. Look at the plot so far. In reality if a SM Naruto clone were to face the 3rd Raikage then the Raikage has him beat in most areas. Observing them objectively you should agree Raikage would win but because of intel and a snappy idea Naruto SM clone beat the overpowered Raikage.

How else would a SM Naruto clone beat the third Raikage? None of his attacks are strong enough. Raikage is meant to be faster, stronger, tougher yet the clone won because of chakra sensing and a good idea. Or you could say plot no jutsu.

Also SM Naruto beat pain..? Just because the main one had happened to use up too much power before Naruto arrived. If the pains were all full power at the beginning Naruto would have needed a lot more clones gathering natural energy and tricks than he used.

Look how Naruto has beaten opponents stronger than him by using cheap tricks and he doesn't have a large variety of jutsus. Imagine what someone like the 3rd or 4th could do. In fact were saw the 3rd take down 2 hokages and screw up Orochimaru.

This is why I think it's pretty pointless when people say Minato vs Tobirama or something because we don't even know all of their abilities and they're both really strong and smart. They could find loopholes in each others techniques.

It's not really possible to say who would win since they have so many techniques and counters we don't even know about.

Yeah fanboys always say there character will win and flame everyone else. There are a few people who actually make valid and interesting points. But it really comes down to what Kishi wants

no i don't think they are pointless because they are fun to think about. and yes i agree that sm naruto cannot beat pain, but the thing is, he wasn't alone, he had 3 huge super powerful toads, sage toads, he went into kyuubi state, and he was prepared with 2 more sm clones. first of all, without the huge toads he would not have been able to beat the animal path so, the dog would still be there and without the toads stomach, he is pretty much unbeatable.

Its a forum were us users come up with fake scenarios or give our opinions on things. So vs threads are fun and are not pointless. We get to come up with the story the way we see it. So no it isn't pointless. I know theirs a few parts in naruto which is just totally BS but still its not our story/manga if you don't like it then gtfo. Not hatin just imo

I never said I hated it i'm just making a point. I mainly made this because i'm tired of hearing Minato vs Itachi threads. People saying Itachi can't catch Minato and Minato can seal everything. Also people saying Itachi can block everything and seal with his sword.

You could argue that they are pointless, yes. In fact, I can't stand them and wish they would all burn eternally.

But somehow, some people actually enjoy these threads, and have fun arguing/discussing various "VS." scenarios. If they're having fun, then it's not really pointless. Not to them, anyway.

I'm sure vs threads are mainly fan boys lol either supporting or defaming characters. There are multiple scenarios that need to be taken into account which makes it harder because the people in the hypothetical fight may have more jutsu's that we no off. So in any case you have to go with the most probable one but even then it's not definitive because anything can happen in a fight. Even a ninja one.

itachi had no problem torturing kakashi and sasuke into comas for no reason. im sure hed try to do the same to minato. we know itachi has absolutely no respect for minato since he calls him by his first name, despite never knowing him.
