Psh, that's impossible to know, but I wouldn't doubt it. The only reason we've seen so much of the toads and Mount Myobaku is because they were associated strongly with both Jiraya and Naruto.

If the manga was about Orochimaru then I bet we'd have seen him and the snakes a lot more xd
