[Discussion] Dilema-What's the Right Choice?

Okay, so I have a bit of an Issue. I decided to have one of my oldest & closest friends move in with me & my GF cause he wanted a grown up life. We all met and decided we all got on, we even really liked his GF, so no issues there. READ ALL IF POSS THX

Starting at the start:

1: Me & my GF initially decided we would move in together and were happy to find a flat for the 2 of us. A close friend of mine was also thinking about moving, so I offered him a place with us.
2: He accepted and we all decided that he would take a small room but that the flat would mostly be ours and he would pay a small sum. So he could save up money.
3: We eventually saw a flat and although it was expensive it was ok between the 3 of us. So we all agreed that this would now be an equal deal with a room for us 2 and a room for him. The rooms were the same size & we only charged him 1/3. Good deal I thought.
4: As we wanted the flat we all put money together to pay our deposit but didn't have enough, so HIS GF offered an additional £90 to seal the deal. We got it. Very nice of her. We paid her back.
5: Time went on and the move-in date got closer & closer. My friend starts telling me about a new girl he's 'working' with and tells me how nice she is...I start to tell him to be careful. He re-assures me that nothing will happen.
6: He tells me that they've been on a few dates and are thinking about starting to date seriously cause they like each other.

Just to interupt: He still has his GF that we like at this stage, so I am worrying for her. She also is about to go on a 3 month trip away and has told him he does not need to be involved in the relationship anymore if he doesn't want to(she doesn't trust guys). He says no, that he will be faithful.

7: He has *** with his new girl, that he's meant to just be working with. The nice GF has been away only 3 days and gets the call...bummer.
8: We meet the new girl...not good. She owns a chihuahua & is a journalist. Not a great start.
9: I get a phone call 1 week before we move in and it's her(didn't give my number). She tells me that she's organised a Birthday for my friend & asks if I'd like to come along. (nice enough right?)
10: The Birthday party is at my new house which I don't live in yet & my girlfriend hadn't been invited,also her house. I was the last person to be invited btw..in my own house.
11: We move in. She's there. Always there. She's brought the 'Rat' food and 'Rat' stuff and is making herself quite comfortable.

How would you all react?

I don't know if you watch the show HOW I Met You're Mother. The two best friends are living together. But in my opinion, friendships don't work that way. A boundary will get crossed or an argument would start. Although, if you're planing on sticking with him i say lay some ground rules and tell him whats up, so it wouldn't be such a disaster.

I don't know if you watch the show HOW I Met You're Mother. The two best friends are living together. But in my opinion, friendships don't work that way. I said that the Dog is a NO!-We have a no pets policy in the flat. They won't listen. Also, I hate Chihuahua's, they're wee Rats, not real dogs.
I told him that it isn't okay to organise a party in my house and then Invite me once she's invited all her friends & family. Didn't listen, just says she meant well.
Told him if she was ok with you cheating on ur GF then she's immoral and there's a good chance she'll do the same to him.
If she's there 6 days a week, then she pays.

BTW There's much more to this than I said in the thread. Just didn't wanna make it too long. She's been much more of a ****.

Also, 12days in and he said he wants to move in with her. Which leaves me & my GF a huge rent & bills...not happy.

Would you stay friends?

That's pretty much what we've done. We've said her Dog is not allowed in the flat and that she can't stay everyday. Now he's moving out and leaving us the bills and rent...nice guy.
Also, she took my GF's toothbrush away and put hers in it's place...you know the electric ones, one plug in spot so when my GF goes to brush she's all like. WTF? Why's my toothbrush unplugged and who's is this?

lol. Yeah I live by myself, since my dad is usually traveling for business and my mother lives in another city. I got a 5 bedroom house to myself. My bestfriend asked if he could move I was like **** that. Idc if I had 20 extra rooms. You need your privacy. It doesn't work to long living with your friends.

Sorry couldn't read all of it i'm getting ready for school. But yea stay friends but at this point just look 4 another apartment that fits you're budjet, because do you really wan't to have a party without getting invited before the rest and worse, what happens if you don't want to have a party? Trust me just try and move you're GF might dislike the idea because you just settled in but in my opinion the best move is to move.

If that doesn't work then tell him to sort her out and to put her in her place. It isn't her flat, she should have asked before hand.
