Even though Shino has hes bugs, he uses chakra to manipulate and create them so on, Hidan doesn't need chakra for hes imortality only the ritual stuff, this is a matter of simple tag war, While Hidan chases shino, he can make bug clone and bug swam and so on... but dont wont kill hidan, sooner or later, shino will run out of chakra and then *strike* shino is down

Oh I see. Shikimaru is the only ninja who knows how to set traps and discover an opponents weaknesses. Shino is on par with Shikamaru in intelligence and planning and a strong fighter on top of that. Hidan is stupid and reckless with 1 jutsu that he always goes to even if it fails. I'm sure Shino could handle him.

let me correct you, Before Shikamaru team and kakashi went for hidan/kakuzu,
Shikamaru knew all the intel of Hidan and he had already planned pretty much everything before attacking them.
When Asuma/Shikamaru and 2 random ninjas fought hidan? what happend? Asuma died and shikamaru failed.
Let me add...
No Konoha 11 can beat an Akatsuki 1v1. (not include zetsu)
Shikamaru had help and he already had all the intel on him so that doesn't count as 1v1.

But let me also ask you this, how long did it take Shikamaru to figure out how Hidan's jutsu worked? How long did it take you to figure it out? I knew from the get go. I mean he's standing there drawing a circle on the ground for a reason right?....Shikamaru isn't physically that strong, he's pretty much for intel purposes only and the shika-ino-cho formation. Shino is in a different league. He's smart and strong. As cool as he was...Asuma was pretty lame too...

Just saying that someone was a part of something like the 12 gaurdians isn't an argument. We all know that aside from a few people, konoha jounin are all fodder and nothing special to write home about. I will take back what I said about physical strength though. To me he appears strong but databook says his taijutsu isn't anything so I'll give you that, but everything else I stand by.
Yes I'm a shino fan, I'm not afraid to admit that there are tons of people he'd lose to, but Hidan just isn't one of them. Hidan may have been akatsuki, but really what did we see of him to make anything think he's all that? It's all speculation. I'm basing my argument on characteristics that we've actually seen them display in the series. You are the one who has much to learn...calling names over the internet? I know you're still a teenager but grow up...

you're right. the reason of why he was in Akatsuki is because he is extremely useful in capturing tailed beasts. nothing more. shino would own. uhhh correct me if i'm wrong but once you're completely out of chakra...you're out of stamina. no stamina = no fight. everyone knows that. Hidan even said he's the slowest in akatsuki, so my bet on shino being able to keep his distance is >>>>> pretty much. So far, Shino has never even shed blood. so he takes gaara's spot for that title
Hidan has no jutsu to see through bug clones. this is no contest. and statement made by other guy about no akatsuki is soloable is str8 fantasy. cuz clearly Hidan would be soloed here, even if Shino has no intel

but how will hidan get the bugs off of him? he hasno type of jutsu to repel the swarm of bugs. bugs suck away chakra. chakra is the body's main nutrition, you could say. no chakra = no stamina. no chakra = no nutrition. Hidan can die if he starves to death, and with no stamina, he can't get up and fight. so shino would win, technically over the course of maybe weeks lol without kakuzu to help him, he's toast.
and again, he was only in akatsuki for his ability to capture tailed beasts. his 'immortality' is the only thing that considers him 's rank'
