Sasuke was an student of orichimaru just like sakura and naruto were student of Tsunade and Jiraya.Sasuke was treated as the same level as kabuto during his stay for 2-3 years.Ortichimaru was also preparing sasuke to learn much jutsus and master his base sharingan before orichimaru can transfer his soul to him.
Edo tensi is a forbiden technique and there is no risk on the user.If kabuto learn the technique and master even better than orichimaru.I believe sasuke also have an knowledge of the technique.

Well orichimaru was planing to transfer himself to sasuke body.I guess he will make sasuke master alot of jutsus before he can use his body ,since it will be easier on him
