Hey don't get me wrong... If I really had to say, it'd probably be Gaara, I just think even after months of planning, anyone who could potentially damage tobi, even slightly, can hold there own.... and even besides the ocean of bombs, she almost killed tobi with the attack before.... remember? it was the attack that came so close to killing Tobi that he accidentally saved Konan too, just to get out of the explosion

since its a surprise attack even the heat from the blast can kill him his defence will be useless with so many paper bombs as a surprise...but gaara has chances if he detected them

No problem, I see what you're saying. The whole aura Tobi has about himself is daunting, especially now. This isn't Tobi though, don't get me wrong I'm not saying Gaara is better, but I think Gaara is a worse opponent for Konan stylistically. Tobi was pushed to his limit because Konan had information, prep time, and his style just didn't match up with Konans at all. All Gaara literally has to do is encase himself in the ball of sand, whip out the Third Eye and call it a day.

Gaara was still levitating the huge quantity of sand that he was using to protect the village, he had to move that huge amount of sand out of the village so it wouldnt fall on the villagers, using the last of his chakra to do so. Afterwards Gaara passed out from exhaustion.
The explosion didn't knock Gaara out, the constant drain of using so much sand knocked him out.
Deidara said it himself that Gaara used the last of his Chakra to protect the village and that he would have been better off if he let the sand fall on them.

Go reread the manga or better yet watch the manga to see in detail.

Shit you are right, my bad... however if deidara could do it, then why couldn't Konan push Gaara so far til exhaustion? She said that the 600 billion paper bombs would hold a constant explosion for ten minutes straight, now I only said 50 billion, but if you ask me, that's still a big and long enough explosion to wear down EITHER gaara's defense or his chakra

If Deidara managed to avoid Gaara's sand(for the most part), it would seem Konan wouldn't have too much trouble doing the same. She can turn her body into paper, so she's definately more evasive than Deidara, it would appear. Overall though, Gaara's absolute defense might prove too difficult to penetrate for her, so I'd say Gaara takes this, with moderately high difficulty.

I'll say the War Arc Gaara takes this one, not the Rescue Kazekage Arc Gaara.. I just don't think Konan, the God's Angel, should be underestimated..

The only things between Konan and Deidara you might compare r their bombs.. Other than their bombs, they r different type of fighters.

She made dozens of explosive paper clones of herself as seen in her battle against the Aburame Clan. She is made of paper so naturally, her weakness would be water but she would use her own weakness as her advantage, like being able to go through fire/explosions. She handled the insects with ease, I would think sand wouldn't be much more difficult than the bugs. (bugs burrow sand, but gaaras sand can change dense so the sand is better) She doesn't blabber and stays collected, for some reason, she seems to be tactically smart, she is also highly evasive..

Although, Deidara may be a bit evasive as seen with dodging Kakashi's developing Kamui. I think Deidara's ego and being one of the youngest Akatsuki member (experience speaking too) made Deidara less of a challenge for Gaara. If Deidara thought like Konan did, he would've posed a much bigger threat especially with his much more powerful C2,3,4 bombs.
Which is why I think Konan do have a chance of taking Gaara on, but with the new Gold Dust technique Gaara just got, Gaara gets this one.
