Gaara vs. Nagato

Nagato absorbs all the chakra from the sand as it touches him and it becomes useless, thus Gaara's only means of attack is useless and he can only defend. Which means he has already lost this battle but let's do something else.


How about a shinra tensei, (or whatever it is called when he pulls the person in) and then steals Gaara's soul or stabs him or steals his chakra then.

We don't even need to bring in Nagato's summons, or his ability to turn his skin into metal and shoot rockets and stuff like that.

Anyone who says Gaara is pretty crazy in my opinion. Naruto and Bee were losing to Nagato, why would Gaara fare better than two actual jinchurrikis who are each far stronger than him?

Gaara can literally do nothing to Nagato except hope to drown him in sand because Nagato can absorb the chakra out of any sand attack that gets close which will make it just regular sand.


Gaara stands no chance.

As a side note, putting Nagato against any one character is not fair, unless that character has multiple insanely haxxed jutsus and a way to prevent chakra stealing. (Naruto did because nature energy can't be stolen as you will turn to stone)

I'm not sure where it was stated, but I think Deidara said that only the Sand in the gourd is infused with chakra. He chooses when to put chakra into sand for example his ultimate defense, the sand in his gourd, the sand armor, to the specialized sand he used to sense Mu's location. I think he can manipulate ordinary sand without infusing his chakra with it. (correct me if I'm wrong). Anyway, If that is true an immobilized Nagato in the middle of the desert with no Chibaku Tensei is getting burried. If not then Gaara is gonna get destroyed.
