You're telling me if their conditions at the end had been reversed, with Sasuke knocked out or close to it and Naruto still somewhat standing, Sasuke would have been able to manage running off to Orochimaru still? Because I can't bring that sort of thought into my head and have it still align with logic. If one thing like that, something so important to the story, had changed at all, everything would have changed.

But I never said he wouldn't have. I called losing to Sasuke that day a learning experience for Naruto and motivation for him. Had it happened any other way he wouldn't be as strong as he is now, trying so hard. Because the way he lost to Sasuke, the way that scene played out made his ambition ten times stronger than any other scenario would have.

Point is: yes, Naruto lost to Sasuke, but Kishi needed to do it that way to get the story the best way it could be.

I disgaree cuz its not like naruto brings up that fight, an i say i need to trained, he was already gonna train like when he left with jiraiya that was gonna happen regardless. An he got stronger cuz pain killed jiraiya an he wanted revenge so he learn sage mode. Naruto will always be strong as long as the kyuubi is in him.

I think Sasuke's powers are gonna be shown next, I think kishi put Sasuke on the sidelines during the war until we got to see naruto's power up and just wanted everyone to think that the kyuubi accepting Naruto would mean he could own Sasuke but Sasuke's EMS is gonna be on another level.
