Who is Kage level in Konoha (please read before answering)

I want to know who you guys think is kage level in Konoha.

By Kage level I mean in skill, intellect, and overall proness. Everyone is a candidate but don't say something silly like...Konohamaru. Candidates must be alive (not dead or edo tensaid) and must be ready right now, not "maybe in five years he'll be good enough"...

Everyone says the same 3 people. Naruto, Guy, and Kakashi (eh..). Well if theres only 3 candidates then Konoha needs to reevaluate their curriculum at the academy and turn out my BA ninja!

Gai - Kage ( People underestimate him because he is goofy )
Naruto - Above Kage

omg we finally agree! except for Kakashi, he's kage level yeah, but he's got no chakra and can't protect the village so...love him but I wouldn't want him to be my kage when something big goes down!

Guy is pretty dumb, plus by Taijutsu alone he isn't going to make it anywhere.

Yep about time! If a outbreak happend in the village the other ninjas can cover for Kakashi but his stamina is not Itachi bad though. xd

I agree with most of what you say, except about Might Guy. Guy uses mostly Taijutsu yes, but he doesn't need much else with the opponents we've seen him go against. I usually don't like to base my arguments on "what if?" scenarios, but it has been said that Guy is also proficient in ninjutsu and genjutsu and I don't think that should be forgotten.

I don't think guy wud be a gud candidate! He's strong and I respect him, but where managing a village is concerned, strategizing and all I mean he has too much limitations.
He did a poor job wen kisame confronted team guy in the desert he cudnt even remember an active akatsuki member. How will manage an entire village guys?

Ehh while being physically strong possibly maybe shouldn't be the most important thing, I think that one of the biggest responsibilities that the hokage takes on is that they need to be the absolute last line of defense to protect the village. Today Shikamaru isn't there. He needs to surpass at least his dad first, and we all know Shikaku is a boss!

He doesn't have much going for him apart from his shadow jutsu and intelligence. When Shikamaru learns some new sh*t then maybe he can become kage.
