How accurate are the Databooks Stats ?
Are the Stats accurate ?
Itachi has a 5 in the databooks if A was in the databoks he would get a 5 too since that's the max score.Even though he is faster than Itachi.
Itachi also has a 5 in Genjutsu but so do Hiruzen and Orochimaru but Itachi is miles better than Both in Genjutsu.

The stats aren't a comparison between the characters.

Take for example, Minato. His speed should be 5. Compared to him, no one can match him, giving everyone a 4 and lower. However, this is not how the databook works.

Itachi is a master of genjutsu, and so is Hiruzen apparently. While still being weaker than Itachi, he is very skilled in genjutsu, giving him a 5 out of 5. Itachi also has a 5 out of 5, but is accepted he is more skilled.

the score 1-5 doesnt mean one person get a 5 and everyone gets a lower score till the point only 5 people has 1-5 while everyone else has 0/5. If they mastered the skill they deserve a 5/5 in it. for example itachi has a 5/5 in genjutsu but if shusui had stats he would also get a 5/5 in genjutsu even though his genjutsu are stronger than itachi.

Databook stats are extremely inaccurate.

Just some examples:
1) Databook gives part 1 and part 2 kakashi 3s in stamina. Part 1 kakashi can use 4 raikiri's in a single day. Part 2 kakashi used 3 raikiris, 1 raikiri wolf, 1 raikiri clone, and a dooton wall, roughly equal to 5 raikiris, and he said he still had "about half" his chakra left.

2) Orochimaru genjutsu = 5, sasuke genjutsu = 4

3) Tsunade speed = 3.5, shizune speed = 4

4) Part 2 sasuke speed = 4.5, part 2 kiba speed = 4.5

5) Sasuke speed = 4.5, Deidara speed = 4.5

6) Asuma speed = 4.5, hidan speed = 3.5, kakuzu speed = 4
