Uchiha! The Hyuuga style is based on being able to precisely hit your opponents chakra points thus making them unable to use chakra. The Uchiha have the Sharingan which tells the user where they will strike making the gentle fist and all of the hyuugas main techniques useless. Plus the Uchiha have susanoo which is pretty much impenetrable armor so its not like any hyuuga can touch sasuke or itachi or anyone else who had that techique. (and no im not an uchiha fanboy. im just giving my honest opinion of who would win and why)

Uchiha . Both clan have Eye Abilities (Sharingan/Byakugan) . But only Uchiha clan have an ' Upgrade ' in their eye abilities (Mangekyou) . Further more, Mangekyou Sharingan has different special abilities . Kakashi's Mangekyou Sharingan has the ability to warp its surroundings, making them confuse . Take in Example , If a Hyuuga we're to use Byakugan and ' Look Through ' or ' Scan ' the Area/Battlefield, and If Kakashi were to use his Mangekyou Ability, The Hyuuga would totally be in danger . Probably would be dizzy and not knowing, an Uchiha has stabbed them at the blindspot. Kakashi's ability is just one of the many other Uchihas have . Hope this helps ~

If it is clan against clan, with most of them being average (no MS or EMS) I would have to give it to the Hyuuga. Only because of the discipline and all of their knowledge hasn't been sealed away or put into some stone tablet. But is within the head of the main branch. Allowing for most members to use their byukagan to their fullest.
BUT if exceptional ninjas are to be included, then Uchiha with relative ease. The mid and long range capabilities give them a distinct edge.

The average Hyuuga is stronger than the average Uchiha. People fail to realize this.
Not every Uchiha can even awaken the Sharingan while every single member of the Hyuuga have their Byakuyan. They're also trained in, what Lee and Gai call, the strongest form of taijutsu in Konoha.
The Mangekyou Sharingan is a rare occurance in the Uchiha. People have a habit of personifying this rarity as the entirety of the Uchiha Clan's strength.
Not every Uchiha are like Itachi, Shisui, or Sasuke. People need to face it.
This is how it works:
-The average Hyuuga is more powerful than the average Uchiha.
-The strongest Uchiha is more powerful than the strongest Hyuuga.
If we're talking about a generic clan-wide battle, then the Hyuuga take this.

Hyuuga clan has incredible chakra control and incredible everything concerning chakra.They can also see in all directions and can see chakra being built before a move is done.
however, uchiha can also see chakra, can really follow movements, and their eyes also improves their fighting style.as in extra strength and speed etc. plus they have kick*** moves which would finish Hyuuga in a minute flat.
The only clan that can face uchiha is the uzumaki clan cuz of their incredible amount of chakra and their sealing skills. On the average, sasuke should pawn naruto everytime they meet but due to kyuubi and plot no jutsu naruto is somehow stronger.
take normal genin naruto and sasuke,add all their powere except kyuubi and who do you think will win???

Ok. Lets kick this up a notch. Lets go ALL the way back to the Chuunin exams. If Sasuke was paired to fight Neji would he have won? Absolutely not, if he couldn't beat Lee. Neji being a genius BRANCH member. Not even with the head family who had more access to training tools and techniques. This is the most basic generic picture you could paint of a clan wide brawl. Only until you get to extremely high level Uchiha will the battle go the other way. But seeing as most members from each clan are ordinary the Hyuuga should win.
