when orochimaru fought 3rd hokage(sarutobi) he sommoned the 1st&2nd hokage..was the 3rd 1 going to be madara? it got me thinking of this when kabuto/orouchimaru sommoned madara in front of tobi does that mean he's been having it? and the 3rd said he had 2 stop the 3rd at first i thought id be the 4th hokage back then but now i know it couldn't have been. 1 of the anbu asked who they where then a othere anbu said they where the founders of the leaf hmm 3rd one madara?

I believe it was the 4th Hokage Minato and Orochimaru wasn't able to complete the summoning becuase Minato had been sealed already.

I think it could have been Madara.
Hiruzen stopped the third coffin from being brought back, the jutsu didn't just cancel because Minato was sealed inside the death demon.
I believe that Kabuto was just speculating that Oro was bringing back Minato I think it was Madara as well.

Orochimaru was a genius, maybe he thought that Oro had found a way to bring Minato back.

Orochimaru is Konoha's top genius and he knows his limits.
Also, Im am sure that Orochimaru knew the battle between kurama and Minato due to his almost limitless Intel he has.

Hiruzen knows his limits and knows he stands no chance against Madara and two hokages, so he took down the most dangerous foe, which was madara.

The reason why he didnt took down the first two caskets because he didnt know what Orochimaru was doing in the first place.

I think everybody is reading too deeply into when Oro brought that third coffin out, kishi probably wrote it like it was gonna be Minato but didnt make the stipulation about oro jutsu till later that he couldnt bring him back because he used the death reaper seal.
