Chiyo is a "she" by the way. And she wasn't a kage ... Sasori HAS a kage + his puppets.
when did kankuro surpass sasori ? do you mean when he "beat" just sasori without ANY puppets? oh ... then your logic is flawed.
How is Temari a bad match up? she is nowhere near his speed.

Yea sasori is the strongest shinobi Suna ever produced, and we haven't even seen all he was capable of...

He said he had 298 puppets.... which means 190+ human puppets which all retain their ninja abilities... Sasori said himself , he doesnt just get every and any puppet... Its all about quality... Third kazekage kkg for example... who knows what other kkg or abilities he had in the puppets he didnt show...

Can he defeat gaara? Yes...an iron sand new world order(or w.e you call it ) would be good enough to beat gaara, assuming iron sand can pierce normal chakra enhanced sand..


As for sasori's ranking in akatsui? my personal opinon is 4th/fifth strongest, including orochimaru

First of all Gaara was defeated by Deidara while he was protecting his village. That came first, he gladly gave up his own life for his village so you can't really say he lost 1 on 1 to Deidara. Also, the weakness sasori has is that he has all puppets, once sand gets in there it's difficult for them to move and he obviously will never get poisoned because of his ultimate defense. If he can't get poisoned the only chance Sasori has is using the 3rd kazekage. The 3rd is a puppet and I highly believe Gaara can disable that puppet with his sand.

No, Kankuro could not surpass Sasori + a massive amount of puppets + 3rd kagekage. And 3rd was the strongest when Gaara became kazekage. The most you can argue is that Gaara MAY surpass him (because he is the main character).

I think you're referring strictly to 3rd's sand, which does that to puppets. Also, you need to remember that Sasori's preferred approach would be poison, which I doubt Gaara has developed any resistance to.
