It had been almost six months since Kirin, Hoshi and Kusuri went off on their journey with Tekko. They had pulled up on a shore where Tekko asked them to demonstrate the results of their training. They were at a strange island made up of several masses of rock with flat tops. Kirin was on with many boulders, Kusuri was on one with may trees and Hoshi was on one with several dummies. Tekko landed on the one with Hoshi.
Tekko: Ok, show me what you got Hoshi.
Hoshi took out two big knives.
Hoshi: I basically use my Chikara to shape the knives into anything I can imagine, as long as I’ve seen something like it, I can replicate it through my knives.
Tekko: Let me see.
Hoshi turned towards the dummies. Then, a green light flowed from the knives, then they turned into blades.
Tekko: I don’t see anything.
Hoshi: That’s because you have to be sensing Chikara first to see it.
Tekko: Oh of course!
A second later, the blades became visible to him.
Tekko: Very nice.
Hoshi smirked and rushed at the dummies. About a minute later, they were all cut down.
Tekko: (Amazing. Normally, it’d take humans years to have that kind of
mastery!)
Tekko: Hey very good!
Tekko turned and leapt over to Kusuri.
Tekko: What you got for me?
Kusuri rubbed his red hair, then unsheated his Chopper.
Kusuri: This here’s my Chopper, made specifically to cleave and chop things apart. I’m going to use Chikara to enhance my form, speed, everything physically when using my Chopper.
Kusuri turned towards the trees and in a blur, sliced down several of the trees, leaving a trail of dust.
Tekko: You and Hoshi have advanced. Now to check on Kirin.
Tekko leapt onto Kirin’s island.
Tekko: Tell me Kirin, tell me yours.
Kirin: Well, I’ve been able to easily create and control lightning, but I haven’t figured out much other than that.
Tekko: You better hurry, Kirin, the tournament’s a couple days away, you have to be able to do it. The people in this tournament are gonna be strong, even for Astrals.
Kirin: I know, Tekko. I will figure it out!
Tekko: Ok, im going back to the ship to take a nap, you work on your technique.
Tekko leapt over to the ship and went below.
Kirin looked over at Kusuri and Hoshi.
Kirin: (Hoshi uses Chikara to get past the disadvantage of using knives, and Kusuri uses his to enhance his abilities. That’s it!)
The next day, Tekko landed on Kirin’s island.
Tekko: Did you figure out?
Kirin: Yep, I got it.
Tekko looked around and saw that almost all the boulders on the top were reduced to a smoldering pile of rubble.
Tekko: Let me see it.
Kirin: Just wait, at the tournament, I’ll show you what I can do!
Next: Kirin’s Secret Style!
Tekko: Ok, show me what you got Hoshi.
