pretty much every character not named naruto sauske kakashi madara and a few others...have been forgotten about and do nothing in the series...i kno the show is called naruto...but really?

i would like to see them a bit more but sumone said and it is def the truth there are no more main enimies that the others could possible fight so thats why they are being left out but i wont lie i wish they get shown alot more especially rock lee his is my fave non mainstream character

It happens all the time in anime. The story is coming down to it's climax and its time to focus down on all the main characters.

i dont think thats the case of it being that there is no more main enemies...*if u dont read the manga dont read any further*...
bc the brought back every bad guy back to life...and it was good to start with sai and kankuro and a few others getting fights...but ever since naruto got free its been him going to every single field after dispelling all the fakes and taking on every person that was there...its more of the fact that thats wat they want to do....i dont kno y...but hey...

if kishi developed every side character, the story would move extremely slowly. We'd probably only be at the beginning of the pain arc manga-wise if every side-character got even as much attention as shikamaru.
