epic fight in my opinion but i see guy an lee winning this. id have to imagine the skills guy an lee have fighting as one without the eight gates. it wont be easy tho with asuma wind chakra an shikamaru smartness (something guy and lee are kinda lacking on)

Guy and Lee are close range. therefore, a bad match for shikamaru who has little time to cast his shadow techniques (or trap them in it for that matter) and more importantly, no time to think. he will not survive against a gated lee, and guy with gates is more than a match for asuma.

This is an awesome match up good job ron74 its hard to tell. Ok people here are underestimating shikamaru I mean he is a genius compare to Gai and lee. I am positive he would be able to atleast catch one of them in his shadow possession jutsu. If he does Asuma would finish him off just saying

Lee vs Shikamaru I don't know about. Lee is fast yes, but how will he get close to shikamaru without crossing over his shadow?

He was chosing as one of the member of The Twelve Guardian Ninja. To be in this group you must be very smart which he is and very talented, I mean his father trained him the 3rd Hokage. He may be smarter than Kakashi, to be honest.

even tho i give the win to lee and guy i really dont think it would be an easy fight. shikamaru an asuma kno they will be goin against 2 eight gates. if they could come up with a plan to hold them off in there 8 gates then shikamaru an asuma could win this being that they will be on almost zero. with that said they gotta have a REALLY REALLY good plan. its not always about the strongest or fastest sumtimes the smartest wins

Guy and Lee pretty easily, i like shikamaru and asuma more, but you have to think that both guy and lee are way too fast for shikamaru to catch in his shadow posession, and without this, shikamaru becomes quite useless
