Sasuke's or Gaara's

If you had to choose a defence, would you go with Sasuke's Susanoo or Gaara's sand defence?

Which one and why people,don't just vote please.

I choose Gaara's as it's automatic,so won't get blind-sided. Also, it uses no chakra. Also, there's no adverse affects. Gaara's wins in almost everyway.

Gaara's sand because his defense can be used on a much larger scale. Susanoo protects the user more than anything else. I would rather have the power to protect an entire village/city than myself alone.

Gaara´s sand is better. First you can defend more people. Secondly it doesn´t need emotions to get stronger. I´d never take susanoo, because hate and revenge is a poison i never want to submit

I agree with you. Gaara's defence is way better than Sasuke's because, as you wrote, it's automatic and you don't have to worry for your blind-spot. Susano'o also covers your blind-spot because it engulfs you. The difference is made by the fact that Gaara's defence wastes no chakra. And let's be serious: would you rather walk on the street with a bag of sand on your back or with a huge purple ghostly thingy around you?

depends on the situation, susanoo can also be used offensively as well as a defence but it costs the user's chakra, it would be good if you are fighting someone one on one and you had to kill them quickly BUT since you asked which is a better defence then it would be gaara's since it uses no chakra and covers more area ect

So generally speaking we're going with Gaara's. One person mentioned the big Ghost thing that Susanoo is being odd to walk about with hehe true, but it can be controlled to look smaller. It's also very strong and you could use it's big arms to climb stuff.

I chose Gaara's sand because it has a lot of range. Yes it's automatic and protects him, but it can protect other people too. A whole village if he wants!
Susano'o just protects the user and I imagine it is a real drain on the chakra.

Also i prefer the look of Gaara's defense. Mama is creepy and BA all at the same time.
