minato and itachi both are geniuses. shika is just good at thinking things through, like strategy , tactics, shogi, school work, etc..

minato is superb, like better said, minato got tobi twice, could shika harm tobi? minato is a genius because he learned so many sealing jutsu, developed the all powerful rinnegan, and created FTG using summoning style in a way, mixed with sealing jutsu. the dude is a genius, well was.. and he had natural speed, that can par with anyone.

on top of that, he also thought quickly, so that his son would survive the ninetails attack, even though it cost him his life, he made a good decision for the future.

itachi is a genius, because of how he can see the whole picture, plus the way he used MS was pure genius. you have never seen itachi spam susannoo.. also look out how he became an anbu at the age of 11, you don't advance in rank just because of power, you need a certain iq to be an anbu at all.​
