Rinnegan = Best at Ninjutsu
Sharingan = Best at Genjutsu and Taijutsu
Byakugan = Best at ???

There are 3 techniques, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu and Taijutsu. And Byakugan isn't best at any of them.

Sharingan > Byakugan in Taijutsu because Sharingan allows the user to predict their movement.

So basically I don't see the point of Byakugan. It doesn't have anything unique like the Sharingan and the Rinnegan.

The Byagukan let's them see a near full 360 degree's around them and for quite a few miles not too mention let them see into the human body and do internal damage from a purposal perspective.

The byakugan is best at reading the chakra network. It can go far more in depth than the Sharingan at someone who is in front of you, being able to see the entire chakra network. Not only that, but it also allows one to sense chakra networks from a near 360 degrees around the user, as well as a distance.

It's necessary, yes, but I sometimes wonder why Kishi put something like that in when all he does now is focus on the Sharingan and the Rinnegan.

Byakygan is a sensor type thing so it is necessary.

Byagukan is mentioned quite a bit hence Neji and Hinata and occasionaly the Hyuuga Head Hiashi.

Haven't heard anything about Hanabi for a while now though.

Ok but i think that the byakugan is mostly used for stealth i mean its good in battle to see chakra points but byakugan was mainly used as a sensory type doujutsu which makes its sucky as karin could do it without using a doujutsu

Byakugan is for taijutsu, not Sharingan, that is for pure magic tricks and Kekkei Genkai and genjutsu

Rinnegan is also for magic tricks and ninjutsu

in the manga from what i remember byakugan and sharingan came from the same lineage and split off somewhere it would be nice if byakugan could upgrade like sharingan to rinnegan.

Sharingan is better in Taijutsu? Lets see that shall we?

Sharingan helps predict movements...Lets go back to the Chunin exam period , right before the first exam.

We will use 2 average genius Genin: Neji and Sasuke

First Byakugan user: Neji; was said to be stronger then Lee, by his own admittance even tough Neji can't keep up with his speed, his ability to see everything in a 50m radius prevented Lee from using surprise attacks

Second Sharingan user: Sasuke; was proven to be way inferior to Lee because his Sharingan could read the movements of Lee but his body was too slow to react in time

So here we can say that Byakugan > Sharingan in Taijutsu

with the same two Dojutsu bearers;

Neji was able to keep up with Fox chakra mode Naruto, Sasuke him barely was able to. Before you say that Fox cloak mode is faster then Fox Chakra mode, Sasuke had a huge speed boost given to him by copying Lee's Taijutsu and was bestowed with another boost with not only curse mark lvl 1 but Curse mark lvl 2.

Here again, we can say that the byakugan 360 degree sphere of sight is > Sharingan movement prediction.

*Raises Brow* Don't you think this is a little over the top?
