Jinbei teaches me Genjutsu

So, tell me everything you know about genjutsu. How it works, how to break out of it, distinguished users, etc.

Genjustu is a form of manipulating and distorting a opponents senses in his brain.The basis of Genjustu revolves around inserting your chakra into your opponent body through contact,disrupting theyre chakra flow and thus being able to distort and manipulate theyre senses to your liking as long as what you are attempting to do is within your capabilities of course. The Uchiha Clan uses their Sharingan to cast Genjutsu and can break through some Genjutsu. For a person to break out of it they must either realise that theyre in the genjustu and break out of it by inflicting pain on themselves,or by completely bringing their chakra flow to a halt and then drasticly increasing chakra circulation which can then break them out of the genjustu,the second method however requires the person to have quite good chakra control. They could also have someone insert their chakra into the person who is trapped in Genjustu's body halting the disruption. Some users of Genjutsu are Itachi, Shisui, and Danzo.

(Genjutsu: Kokohin) - Illusion Technique: False surrounding

Description: The user controls creates a false surrounding which can change the way an object or small area looks(if used double then its a layer of false surroundings not easy noticed by the enemy).

You will focus your chakra and release it towards my brain. Once the chakra has reached it, I want you to control my brain to make me see things that aren't there or make me miss things that actually are there. Once you're done with that, I want you to repeat but this time, adding two layers, making it more difficult for your opponent to realize he is in a genjutsu.

Description of you performing the technique: I concentrate and start sending my chakra trough the air into your brain. Once I have sent enough chakra, I focus on the house that is nearby and I use my chakra to manipulate the image of it in your brain and make the door disappear. Once the door is invisible for you, I send another amount of chakra into your brain and I use it to change the image of the house in your brains again. This time I manipulate them so, that there appears a window where normally the door was situated.
Weaknesses of technique:If you only create one layer, the opponent can see trough the genjutsu more easily. Also someone with Sharingan that is 2 tomoe or higher could easily break through it.
Strong points about the technique:You can completely disorient your opponent and he'll get confused, because (for example) there was a door before and it changed into a window.
You can also do it to "hide" yourself. You can let a rock appear in front of you and your opponent won't know where you are.

I beg to differ; if your opponent sees you, then suddenly gazes at a rock that simply appeared in front of him, he will realize he is in a genjutsu. When using genjutsu, I'd say timing is the most important fact you need to pay attention to. Firstly, do not make things out of the blue. Secondly, make sure the genjutsu allows you to blend in with the surrounding. Thirdly, under no circumstances allow the genjutsu to be "unreal" or else, I can guarantee you, you will get yourself killed before you can say "Oops". Improve your description and think more into the genjutsus if you want to improve, else this method is completely and utterly pointless. Oh, and one more thing; copy again a description from another student and I will immediately drop you. Am I understood ?

Description: The user vanishes in a whirlwind of sakura petals.

This one is very simple and straight-forward. Again, insert your chakra into my brain but this time make me believe you're vanishing in a whirlwind of sakura petals while in reality you never moved from your original position.

(Genjutsu: Kasumi) - Illusion Technique: Servant

Description: An illusionary servant that is really a paper bomb that once in range of the opponent will explode.

Now, this one technique is all about timing. You will need to do things simultaneously, so get ready. Begin by inserting your chakra into my brain, like for every other genjutsu, but then make me see a servant that can take the appearance of whoever you please. Note to make it as realistic as possible, because if a camel appears out of the blue, your opponent will realize he is in a genjutsu. O_O

Now, make the servant run towards your opponent as you throw a paper bomb as well. That will make the user believe the paper bomb is in fact the servant and thus will defend against it accordingly, allowing the paper bomb to explode, probably dealing some damage.

Illusion Technique: Flower Petal Escape
Description of you performing the technique: I start by gathering my chakra and focusing on sending my chakra into your brain. I keep focusing my chakra into it and when I have enough chakra in your brain I use my chakra to make you think that a whirlwind of Sakura petals form around you making you think I vanished into the whirlwind when I just stay in the same spot.
Weaknesses of technique: Some weakness of this jutsu is its range since its short range you have to be close to the enemy. Also the timing is important because if you just use this out of nowhere the enemy will know they are in the genjutsu especially if out of nowhere they just see petals appear around them in a whirlwind.
Strong points about the technique : The enemy would think you dissapear out of nowhere. Also you could use the time the enemy trying to break the genjutsu to attack them.


Illusion Technique: Servant
Description of you performing the technique: I start by gathering my chakra and I focus on inserting it into your brain. When I have enough of my chakra inside your brain I use my chakra to make you see a servant which takes the form of The Pervy Sage. After Pervy appears he starts running towards you at the same I throw a paper bomb at you making you think the paper bomb is the servant. As you defend against the servant the paper bombs goes off dealing some damage.
Weaknesses of technique: If the user of this jutsu doesnt make the servant realistic enough the enemy will know they are in a genjutsu easily. Also this jutsu is also short range so you have to be close enough.
Strong points about the technique : This jutsu will help distract the enemy so that the paper bomb can go off. Also if you are doing a 2 on 2 battle you can have the enemies think your teammate is running towards them.
