Why do people hate Sasuke?

Shit happens. Sasuke, however, decided to make things worse for others because of the emptiness in his heart. A lot of people see this as selfishness, and they're right. It is selfish. But people who have been in a hole like he has understand his position. They can compare themselves to him, and that makes them like Sasuke, but not necessarily like his decision-making. That's my situation with him. People also think that he is becoming strong way too easily and without effort..for some, they also agree on this for Naruto as well.

Most of the reason, however..Is the fanboys and fangirls who obsess over him xD

But joking aside, Sasuke has likable traits as well. He cares about his brother and family, he's strong, he's smart, the list goes on. I just think he's less likable in Shippuden for being such a jackass.

Basically dude. If you look through your thread, you will see several Sasuke fanboys who think that he is doing the right thing by choosing to kill everyone. Even those who had no involvment is his clans death.

Fanboys think that Sasuke going about killing people who have done nothing wrong to him(Naruto and Genin in Konoha etc) is totally the right thing to do.

do you remember the time when he first saw rasengan. he was dying of jealousy when he saw naruto catching up to him. even back then he couldn't accept the fact that people may become stronger than him. he had to be the best

how do you think that happened?
his teachers kept praising him "genius"
all the girls kept cheering for him.

he was pretending that he didn't care but it seems he did.

He wasen't dieing of jealousy. He thought of Naruto as a rival throughout the series and he realized he needed to get stronger it was the same for Naruto as well.
