Itachi vs Sasori

I love Itachi, Nearly everyone loves Itachi, but he loses this match.

Like people before me have stated, Genjutsu and Amaterasu, his most powerful offensive attack is useless her. Sasori has so many Jutsus and puppets he can use, Itachi can't go through this match without one scratch.
Itachi's only key here is his normal jutsu and his Susanoo, although he can't keep it activated for lond periods of time, and Sasori being a puppet, has a huge, if not infinite amount of stamina.

Everyone keeps saying that Itachi will outsmart him, but thats just like saying that Shikamaru could beat Sasori just by outsmarting him, it doesn't work like this.

So Sasori wins this.

No you idiot, Tobi stated that Itachi TSUKYOMI (however you spell it) was greater then SASUKES. You got the wrong genjutsu my friend.

i´m a big itachi fan...
but its just dumb to say itachi have izanagi i mean wtf?! do you even read the manga?
This fight would be awesome... An enemy who can´t be one-shot by tsukoyomi or amaterasu...if i were itachi i would be worried bout the poisen not the kunai and all the thinghs more good placed poisen gas while in susano also sasori could block most of itachis regular attacks with iron sand ... the only thing i cant think about is totsuka blade itachi could see the chakra in sasoris "heartcontainer" and could maybe hit him? Itachis chances are bad but would there be a way with some quick fireball jutsu or some good placed clones? what do you think?? btw sasoris my 2 fav character

Tech and capabilities are nothing but an advantage. In the naruto world it does not matter what level you are at, for example ( chinn exam- naruto vs neji ) neji was on a higher level and still lost. ( rock lee vs garra ), ( sasuke vs diedera ) diedera being a s- class ninja. ( naruto vs garra ), ( shikimara vs hiden ) hiden being a s- class ninja, ( naruto vs zubuza ). These battles are all proof, and it all shows that no matter what you abilities are there is always a chance.
For this thread i well give it a 50/50 because we can never predict the out come. Itachi vision is blury and genjutsu would not work, amatartsu would be a waste of chakra if he dont use it well, susonno takes alot of chakra too. However itachi is smart and might find a way.
Itachi is my fav character however i like to give credit to where it's due. As i have stated from before its not what you have its how you use it.

Itachi uses a particular type of genjutusu, which is visual genjutsu. Since , sasori has puppet eyes, and doesn't have a brain.

But only has a central core.

Genjutusu, requires a network of chakra links and a brain, and a way of initiation..either through touch,sound,seeing,smelling,tasting..

my main reason for saying that sasori would win this fight is due to their respective fighting styles. Neither of them go all out at the onset of a match, they leave trump cards to use if cornered. That being the case I can't fathom how Itachi could avoid every single attack sasori threw at him. Also the giant cast of puppets sasori controls most with their own hidden weapons is just too much. The only reason naruto's group was even able to win the fight was because kankuro was too impatient and sasori didn't finish the job against him. Leaving them with a chance to create an antidote, which was only effective for 2 minutes.

LOL, sharingan will be able to see chakra strings and he can just cut them easily, his will against sasori's string tugging , i think itachi would win
