I hate how Sasuke and Naruto have gotten so powerful

Yea naruto still wants to become hokage, he doesnt go back on his word, he's made too many promises already , eg= changing the hyuuga clan main branch etc ways

In my opinion, I thought Naruto ditched his desire to become the Hokage back when he defeated Pain and gained the entire villages loyalty.

OT: The two may have gotten OP, but I think part of the problem with that isnt with their power, its with everyone elses. The only people that Sasuke and Naruto have fought lately that make them seem OP, are characters LIKE the Kage, who are SUPPOSED to be OP but arent.

This is probably the last arc of this manga, so its really no wonder that two main characters reached Kage level.

Yeah i think he might do what Jiraiya did, he was offered the role of Hokage multiple times but he always declined because he couldnt save orochimaru. Which i totally see Naruto doing because he couldnt save sasuke

I understand Naruto with Sage Mode and Sasuke with MS but I wanted them to need lots of training to fully use their powerup so they can learn and perfect new jutsus and give other characters a chance to train and get stronger to compete with them in some way. They're 16 and that powerful. How powerful would they be in 5-10 years? Lol

Sasuke wasted by Kage after Kage yes. Three times he should've been killed at the summit I believe.

First: By Raikage (saved by Gaara)
Second: By Mizukage (saved by Zetsu)
Third: Oonoki (saved by Tobi)

Naruto's excuse to the Kage thing is he took out one Kage (Gorilla Raikage). Being Kage is important, however, we're talking about two kids who are probably the biggest exceptions to some rules in this story. An Uchiha who has gained the second most powerful eyes in the series, something only one other person has done. Now a natural genius given one of the greatest dojutsu in existance, well you should expect Kage level out of him. Naruto being the child of prophecy, son to Yondaime Hokage, trained by a Sannnin and another Jinchuuriki, and who is in fact the Jinchuuriki of the strongest Bijuu and having mastery of it's power (more or less), once again expect Kage level from him.

So because of what 2 characters are doing, (two character who have plot no jutsu on their sides I might add) you're calling the Kage positions "normalcy"? Come on, don't underestimate the Kage or overestimate Naruto and Sasuke. Thing neither Sasuke or Naruto are going to have an easy job dealing with any shinobi who has reaced that title and as we've seen, they haven't.

To tell the truth I'm not sure Kishi knows how he wants to end this story yet. Not every writter has created a story chart from start to finish so we don't know anything more then what we've seen.

yeah I'd rather sit around and read on as naruto/sasuke train and try to perfect their skills with countless hours of doing the same technique over and over again.
that's way better than just getting shown the gist of the techs origin, and then moving on to things that actually matter.

This manga is about fullfiling dreams, to this point Naruto was able to do just fine. There is some some chance to pesimistic ending, but chance for it is like 0.1%.

To tell the truth I'm not sure Kishi knows how he wants to end this story yet. Not every writter has created a story chart from start to finish so we don't know anything more then what we've seen.

Yeah thats exactly what i think, I dont think Kishi intends to have Naruto be like a fairy tale type of story but have more of a complex message.
