Sasuke is a high level ninja
Kakashi is a high level ninja
Nagato is a high level ninja
2nd mizukage a genjutsu user fought and killed muu

im talking about high level ninja fighting each other like Nagato(1) and itachi(6) and fair point about sarutobi but he got out of it in the end right genjustu is never a one shot kill on high level ninja

u r missing point second hokages genjutsu is no where near Itachi lvl

Genjusu of Uchiha is different from genjutsu of others

its like naruto normal rasenga VS naruto QB rasengan

basically Uchiha shishu has strongest genjutsu in world and next one is Itachi u can see danzo saying itachis genjutsu is soo real as he can manipuate real time at will like how he damaged kakashi is just 3 sec and kakashi felt pain of 7 days ...

indeed genjutsu isnt the end of game but in high lvl fights they do play major roles ,,think if minato gets caught in genjutsu all itachi need is just 1 sec and seal minato right .
