Lets see... You say naruto needs help from the kyuubi, yet he has had it since he was born? In the womb he was getting fed kyuubi chakra, when he was born he got the kyuubi sealed in him, so therefore he has been with kyuubi chakra since birth. While sasuke unlocked his sharingan due to naruto getting harmed, unlocked his 3 tomoe due to naruto pwning him in the valley of the end, unlocked his MS due to itachi wanting him to have it, and unlocked his EMS due to tobi being nice.
While naruto had to work to use the kyuubi's power sasuke got his due to other people to a extent. Naruto got his SM due to very hard work while sasuke's MS was a gift due to itachi not trying to his fullest, all itachi wanted to do was get oro out of sasuke's body. And his EMS was pretty much also because of that reason...
In a battle sasuke always has help from someone to heal him, which happened to be karin. If it wasn't for karin and juugo sasuke would of died to killer bee, if it wasn't for karin sasuke would of died to danzo, if it wasn't for tobi sasuke would of died to onoki.

So seriously sasuke needs help for every battle after he got his MS or else he would of died... They're equal, enough said.

"you know you are the reason why naruto gets stronger dont you sasuke?"
