Current Naruto vs Current Gaara except that naruto can't go in kyuubi mode and sage mode. I think naruto wins this with his exceptional chakra amount and Creativity. Won't be easy though gaara is really good. Desert funeral is dangerous and he got a bunch of other jutsus in his sleeve

Its easier to be bear the title ''kage'' in sand village then in Konoha just saying. Not sayin Gaara is not that strong but just that sand doesn't have as many great shinobis as Konoha does.

Gaara is Kage, temari and kankuro are both strong Jounin, While Most of naruto's group are chunin and Neji being the only jounin.

If Gaara still had his Beast and Learnt to controll it like Naruto, Gaara would be just as strong as Km naruto

Base naruto is actually very pathetic.

The only reason id say current base naruto is a low jonin at best is because of his experience. Other than that, his speed, taijutsu, ninjutsu and genjutsu awareness is extremely poor.

Gaara takes this with low difficulty
