Help me decide on a big shot

So I have decided to try a new manga, im currently reading bakuman and soul eater. Browsing at a bookstore, I stumble upon some candidates, which are black cat, the new bloody monday, the also new monster hunter orage, hellsing, jackfrost, fairy tail, vagabond... I want a BIG SHOT popular series, and no, I dont like one piece, and blue exorcist. So which would you recommend?

Lol, actually I HAVE started fairy tail, I purchased and read volume one, but stoped reading the series there, I cant remember why. Ill probably continue fairy tail then.. But there are tons of very intresting manga, kinda like the new bloody monday

One Piece. The only thing interesting about Bloody Monday is the title. The humor is lame, the women are all evil, and the MC is paranoid. Oh right, you'd know it was a villain right away judging from their gender or their hairstyle. Good looking guys are ALWAYS protagonists. It takes away from the supposed SUSPENSE that the series supposedly offers.

Hmmm, In my opinion bloody monday does indeed look promising, but I guess everybody has their own taste. So ill probably give fairy tail a second try..
I have a question, I finished watching the anime of full metal alchameist( not brotherhood) but i heard its completley different than the manga. So if i follow fma through manga, would it be completley different story?
