So since the seal that holds 4 tails is similar to kushina so does that mean that naruto's uzumaki power is going show itself or is the key that Minato left is a universal key to all biju seal jutsu.
I also love the flashback of when kyubi was remembering his prior bosses, that madara had to be one mean ninja in his days. Also always a fan of new jutsu, love kakashi's lightening chain. I can't wait till next chapter hope he gives us another one this week.

Plot-hole: Eight-tails refer to nine-tails as nine-tails and not kurama and i assume that all tailed beasts have been given names so if that´s the case then why would the tailed beasts themselves refer to each other by their tails and not their real names?
If bee and eight tails are as close as they say they are then why haven´t bee ever said the eight tails name? I know why, because it´s a plot-hole, suddently this fight of jinchurikis vs naruto/bee turned into some krusty "tailed beasts have feelings" and discrimination shit? Wtf?

I gotta say that the Nine tails or Kurama is getting more ridiculous by the second.

I think you have a point, 8 tails might have called the 9 tails 9 tails as a jab or insult. We knew the one tailed beasts name for a while. Since the Gaara vs. Naruto fight. Boss Toad used his name I think. It is a mystery. Only idea I have is that noone ever bothered to ask the tailed beasts their name. Kinda huge insult. Could be why they have such grudges. It's like calling a human by a racial name.

i agree with everyone else who mentioned that the 4 tails nme should have been something else. not only kishi is demeaning himself by showing lack of creativity.

he is also demeaning those characters who are kinda worshipped by many.

i understand kishi gives the creator of DBZ all credits of being where he is today but seriosly goku is goku no one else is.

DBZ should have been more creative and not stolen from Japanese Mythology. I'd like to see anyone here create a story without stealing from their own society/culture. Every story that has ever been told or will ever be told will, inevitably, be built using the building blocks of the surrounding society.

Finally ..You're smart,,, There are tons of old stories about Karama and Son Goku in asian mythology. Also Roshi etc... As you can see , if you think about it. In most popular manga a lot of the characters are based on mythological figures.

Alternate Names:
Goku / Kongo / Monkey / Monkey King / Son Goku / Son-Goku / Songoku / Sun Wu Kong / Sun Wu-Kong / Sun Wu-kung / Sun Wukong

boils down to the fact.. Son Goku just means Monkey King.

What a brilliant chapter, really enjoyed the start with gai and kakashi and loved the naruto chat with 4 tails. I just wish they seperated it made one chapter with gai and kakashi battling and one with naruto talking as i was slightly dissapointed when it was naruto just talking with the 4 tails.

Atlast it came. I swear the 9 tails/Kurama is becoming less and less intimidating by the minute, even Naruto is laughing at his name. Im wondering though, why would the Sage give names to the tailed beasts if they were enemies? And the sage split the beasts up on his deathbed with the last of his power, so how would he have the time... I don't think Tobi told us the full truth about SO6P.

i think, that the Sage and the beast werent enemies... they were friends, or something like that...like a human, and his pet...

Enjoyed getting new background on the tailed beasts.
PEOPLE, please stop talking off the top of your heads about someone biting off of someone else's work. Kishi has taken much inspiration from Japanese mythology, not from another manga series, even if it is someone whose artwork has inspired him. Goku with an extendable staff and flying cloud is more of a bite than two characters in different manga being simian. And if you are a Beatles fan, you know that the same 3 chords in different songwriters hands can create a lot of different music, so though you may think a plotline may seem similar, it may take a surprising turn so enjoy the ride Kishi is taking us on and stop bitching about idiotic things.
