kekkei genkei or not?

If you have like *ice release* like haku. Is it a kekkei genkai? Or does he just mastered wind and water release?

And if so. Jiraya has earth style and fire style. Does jiraya automaticly posseseslava release? Or do you need a kekkei genkei bloodtrade or something

Ice Release is a kekkai genkai. Anytime someone can mix two elements together to create a new element it's a kekkai genkai so Ice, Lava, Steam...are all kekkai genkai

You can have 2 elements that make a KG buy unless you have certain DNA you can't combine them, both darui and Kakashi can use lightning and water but only darui can combine them to make storm release.

The movies aren't Canon they are for entertainment only so they can do stuff that wouldn't make sense in the real story, and the land of snow guys isn't a KG its a hidden clan technique like nara shadows or aburame bugs and is different then haku's ice in that haku can make his own ice and freeze water and the movie bad guys control ice and snow but can't make it.
