is minato stronger then madara uchiha

He cannot pankaj, madara is hell outta strong, and has much more fight experience, attack, and defence, plus EMS and Rinnegan, that beats minato.
We have only seen minato's FTG and speed, nothing more. With madara's power, he can easlily overpower minato.

Madara is Stronger but that doesn't necessarily mean that he'll defeat Minato.
Minato has SP/TM + Sealing Prowess + Speed a good combination against any sort of Enemy.
If they were to face each other Minato might be able to win if he spams FTG and Manages to to something about Susanoo...because we've seen all the Rinnegan techs...Kakashi and Guy can dodge them now...and about other EMS techs we know their weaknesses..so Minato has a chance to win only if he manages Madara away from his Susanoo.
Madara on the other-hand is a godlike Ninja...the Badest Badass...the Name is enough...but he what will he do if Minato just Spams FTG...either way Minato has an option to escape if thing go out of hands but Madara doesn't have that option.
That's why I think that Minato might've been a better Trump Card on the battlefield than Madara...now its a different story that why can't be Edo'd but Madara is doing nothing right now....he's just killed some fodders and is stalled by 5 Kages....but if it were for Minato,there'd be a complete chaos and the 5 divisions might've been finished by now.

Gentleman i just want to point out 2 things that you might be ignoring
1)FTG spammage is going to go anywhere against a foe with Gargantuan amount of chakra(foul chakra)+chakra augmented by the Hashiramas DNA
2)Knowing the powers of the rinnegan and ems doesn't do any good if you don't have the appropriate counters to those said jutsu
All Minato can do is evade,due to his FTG and speed,but he has no appropriate counters for Madara's arsenal
another thing i found hilarious,is what you said about Minato already defeating the divisions if he was alive,lol xd,Madara nuked the battlefield and decimated the 4th division in 2 asteroids while warming up...there's just no comparison to a god like shinobi and a flashy one

People jump into Madara's bandwagon after seeing him do powerful jutsu's..wow..the problem is how is he going to hit Minato? If you analyze it properly and do some research, teleportation techniques uses Yin-Yang release. This is the sixth nature affinity and having this affinity means that he had KKG.
I personally think and I can prove that his nature type is YIN, YANG, YIN-YANG. YIN-YANG forms by moulding YIN and YANG, thus it makes him a KKG user. Only a KKG user can mould 2 nature types. DO you think that Minato does not have powerful jutsus? Rasengan and FTG are his signature jutsus but not his only jutsu.
How about earth element? I think he also has it because by simply touching the ground with his index finger, he could detect the presence and number of enemy shinobi. He needed the ground to do the jutsu..ground=earth.
He may also be a wind user..Naruto uses wind. It's 50/50 because Kushina may also be a wind user but his fight with A shows that he is trying to stab A with a kunai even though he knows A is using lightning shroud. Only wind is strong against lightning.
Now, if he does possess this nature types, do you think he doesn't have powerful jutsus that can harm Madara? Madara has no answer for his S/T techniques while Minato has space time barrier to warp attacks..Madara is a show-off type of ninja. He wants to display his powerful jutsus right away. Against Minato, it will not work and the moment Minato sees his jutsus, he can deduce it's basic mechanics and take advantage of it's weakness.

Not really I said if Minato were EDO'D...As you know Edos can't die...I mean Madara's Meteor jutsus were bad-ass but it also killed [and then reanimated] his Edo form.
Minato is Fast and Has FTG so he can Deal with Large Number of Shinobis with that and plus they won't be able seal him because they won't be able to capture him let alone restraining.
But Madara on the other hand doesn't have SP/TM, so he can't escape...so there's pretty good chance that the 5 kages will seal him.
every time we see minato he is only displaying his speed not his full power because he always spends time "teaching lessons" (like vs. A and B)
and plus despite not seeing his arsenal of jutsu, minato didn't reach his peak/prime yet so he can't be judged fully (each generation/hokage is supposed to be stronger than the previous) so hiruzen prime should be stronger than hashirama and tobirama then when minato peaked he should have been stronger than hiruzen
tsunade is a generation before minato's (with jiraiya) so she can't really surpass him but someone like kakashi and naruto should be able to soon enough
