Everyone keeps focusing on the Tai Jutsu aspect of both fighters and yes Hinata is above and beyond the better Tai Jutsu fighter. Does that mean that Sakura is going to run straight at her into the range of Hinata attacks. I don't think so. That's like wearing a meat poncho and running at a hungry bear. The outcome will never be good.

The Medical Jutsu take is great but it seems that everyone is focusing in the physical aspect, and not the knowledge of what toxins and poisons affects on the body are. A simple smoke bomb with a toxin that paralyzes, blinds, impair your vision, or slow reflexes are just some of the tools that Sakura could use.

Also a lot of people seem to forget that Sakura is very adapt at using the Kawarimi on Jutsu (replacement/swap) and is pretty decent in come up with strategies during combat.

Hinata is a great close combat fighter but has not shown any mid to long range fighting techniques, where Sakura has.

If they where to fight 10 times, I would say that Sakura wins 6 of them and that the battles are very close. However they will never fight each other and we'll never know.

Also we would not be talking about this if Sakura didn't save Hinata after the injury from Pain.

lol who cares what Sakura can do? She can only hit Hinata from up close and Hinata would rape her if she comes within gentle fist range...... And ofr Kawarimi no Jutsu the byakugan can see through that Hinata can always tell where the real Sakura is so the only way they could fight is head on... In 10 fights Sakura would win 1....
And we wouldnt be watching Naruto anymore if Hinata didnt interfere cause Naruto would be dead.

And if Sakura didn't guard Naruto and Sasuke during the 2nd phase of the Chuunin exam from the Sound Nin we wouldn't be reading of watch Naruto either.

Also I didn't make Sakura one of the main supporting characters, Kishimoto did.

Please reread my first post. I gave props to both characters and I mentioned that would be suicide fighting a Tai Jutsu master like Hinata. They are other ways of fighting, not just with fist.

Agreed. Hinata has been training to specialize in close-combat fighting with taijutsu, and she can track her targets even when they try to confuse her with clones. Sakura's main combat skill is her super strength. The strength which she gets through chakra flow. Hinata has also been trained to take down people like Sakura who rely on chakra. Logically, Hinata would win that fight. Smoke bombs or attempts to impair her vision wouldn't work, since Hinata has the Byakugan. Also, what impressive long range/mid range attacks has Sakura shown that Hinata couldn't simply, I dunno, dodge?

But, I'd still say (from a past comment) that pitting them against each other is not very fair. Whereas Sakura's talents lie in her medical skills, Hinata's are in close-combat/Byakugan. Hinata would most likely win every time.

I guess everyone is forgetting the fact that Sakura knocked out 3 of her fellow ninja's with out throwing a punch. I believe it was a smoke bomb with knock-out gas. It's hard to use your Tai Jutsu skills when your passed out.

Cool but I guess your forgetting that they were all fighting while she was using it.... Which made it possible for her to use it.

Okay, i'm just posting my opinion. I'm not going to bother reading all the pages because I have a life so don't hate on me for saying something that has already been said.

Sakura and Hinata are equal in my opinion, but Sakura used to be a complete bitch before Shippuden (hitting Naruto when he was down and not doing anything good). They've both improved so I think they're equals now.

So I disagree with you that Sakura is better.

I understand this part of the forum allowes you to chat about the manga and episodes, but I'm unsure if this section considers anime as part of canon.
If it doesn't then Hinata does not have Sixty-Four Palms and no speed feats that put her above Sakura.

hinata is a sensor type ninja who's good at close combat...
sakura is a medical type ninja who's good for support at healing and battle...

hmmm i dont know sakura has that strength but hinata has the better speed and the taijustu also seems to have more moves and she's not creepy its called bein a shy young girl. shes still shy but shes getting more confident and when she does she'll probly be the best kunoichi !
