Will Rock Lee ever be as good as Neji?

Lee cant use ninjutsu or genjutsu, he got owned by gaara n yes lee is known for his Strong Fist style of combat but thats it Neji Gentle Fist alone can affect internal organs damage on lee. Lee has drunken fist but he can only use that when hes drunk he not drunk anymore. Neji can also use the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms, an extremely strong offensive move lee not dodgin that. I know lee can open the Eight Inner Gates but those are chakra gates so Neji with his Byakugan can plugged up Lee chakra points, makin his 8 inner gates useless. So will Lee ever be as good as Neji?

Imo, Lee is nearly up to Nejis level. Gaara couldn't even see Lee when he took off his weights during the chunnin exams.
If Lee opens up his gates, Neji wont be able to see him or keep up with him so there is no way he can block his chakra points.

I think overall, Neji is superior... but that's factoring in everything. His sensor\tracker capabilities, great offense and defense, greater intel

But I think if they were in a 1v1, Lee's gates are too much for Neji to handle.


Champ, you can't really judge the fight by saying "exactly" what will happen.

Lee and Neji are very familiar with one another.... and we have to judge off of skillset and what we've seen and not "Neji blocks his chakra points, Neji wins"

Lee isn't going to let Neji hit him in the first place, considering he knows of Neji's abilitys, stregths and weakness', he will unlock the 5th gate before Neji gets near him

When Lee opens his gates, it automatically increase the charkra flow, thus beyond limitation of brain. Which mean it is not controlled by organs anymore. Neji attacks will not have effect on it since his chakra flow is too fast and even Neji have hit the points before gates, the gates will release the limited charka which mean those chakra are unattackable with Gentle Fist since they are stored for healing or used in another organs for living processes

well lets see it from diffrent views, if neji hits lee with gentle fist =, neji will probably win.

If Lee takes of his weights and go into 5th inner gate or more, then id say lee would win with his speed and strength against neji.

Lee would be too fast and with their skill sets both are great shinobi, but also they know eachother quite well so in the first place lee would not let him touch him, on the other side i dont think neji would give lee an easy win by just standing by, while he opens his innergates.

Do you honestly think that lee will still be as he was in part 1,jiraiya taught naruto rasengan in part 1,part 2 naruto trained and came out wit more than what his sensei taught him like oodamarasengan,rasenshuriken,and other variations. Same case with kakashi and sasuke,jiraiya and pein,orochimaro and kabuto. So dont think lee will still kick you up in the air then beat in a ping-pong manner then draw you closer with his tape and slam you with a final kick. He should have new variations like Twilight falcon, Dawn wolf or something like that... and i highly doubt lee would lose to neji even with neji's rotation, lees' going to defy it just like how naruto 6 tails defied pein's almight push. Am saying all this not because am lee's fan but thats just the fact.

When Lee uses the gates. How will Neji even be able to hit his chakra points? He couldn't keep up.

It would simply be a case of who tires first with Neji turtling with his rotation (would that be strong enough to withstand the 5th gate?) and Lee's short lived jutsu.

That would be how that battle is decided.
