How the fox might help Naruto.

Now, before I get to my main point I find it important to stress my acceptance that the fox can and probably will lend Naruto power (i.e. Chakra etc...) in this battle. It's pretty much accepted by 99% of fans. So refrain from saying things like 'it's obviously power' etc. We know this, so don't feel the need to go over old ground uneccessarily.

However a commonly used phrase amongst philosophers is that 'Knowledge is Power'. It's very true as information can be invaluable if used at the right time and in the right context.

Which brings me onto my main point. Who do we know that is currently 'alive' who is both old and has a vast array of knowledge on both Madara Uchiha and this supposed imposter whom I shall refer to as Tobi.

None other than our furry little 'Kubby' (I know it's Kyuubi, it's a reference to a funny thread made last week!).

This fox, in theory should have a hell of alot of knowledge on both of these men. As the fox has been controlled/manipulated by both men as depicted within the manga. Therefore it is reasonable to assume, that due to these interactions, the fox should have gained knowledge on both them as people, their history and battle prowess. I believe that he will possibly impart some of this knowledge to Naruto to aid him in battle. This mainly applies to Tobi as he is the one trying to defeat Naruto.

I think the fox will reveal any combination of Tobi's identity, his history and battle powers/weaknesses (if he has any) in a bid to ensure that both he and Naruto are not defeated by this mystery man.

Remember people, knowledge is power. The fox has knowledge and therefore power and not just the chakra type.

nice theory - i agree with the "knowledge is power" - and i think kyuubi is by far the oldest, that would know both men - (Hashirama and Madara)

If you are implying that I somehow have inside knowledge and have just posted it. Then I am insulted...

It's just a thought I had when discussing Naruto with my brother.

to be quite honest i think the eight tales was referring to kyuubi's relationship with naruto becoming more like bee's with his beast. naruto had shown compassion towards the 9 tails where others had not so it's plausible that kyuubi would no longer wish to take over naruto who is basically his only friend, so naruto may be able to go into beast form fully with the 9 tails there to help him.

Not really, I didn't realise there was unwritten rules stating that I couldn't.

It's open for debate until the issue is published really.

What's the harm in debating Naruto until we have been told otherwise?

I had a theory, a reasonably good theory. I might as well put it up now. So if it's proven to be right. I would say 'oh that's what I thought'. To which people would say 'yeah, yeah pull the other one mate. Well seeing you never said before the manga was released'.
