you sound like you know NOTHING about hinata.....don't worry i will give you a lesson and just because we haven't seen her in fight doesn't mean she is weak...
I don't recall even saying she is weak, because she hasn't been seen fighting. Or even weak at all.
During the timeskip, Hinata improved her taijutsu skills immensely and displays now a large variety of her clan's techniques.
I'll be blunt. I don't use the Anime as evidence and therefore my knowledge will be slim.
When later fighting Pain in the anime, her attacks were strong enough to snap Pain's Chakra Disruption Blades that were restraining Naruto and also able to strike Pain.
The Anime's attempts to "improve" the scene from the manga was pretty poor. The true capabilities of Lion Fist was never shown is the manga. Not only did they give it enough strength to snap the rods, but also the ability to stun the opponent.
Hinata striking Pain was incredibly unrealistic considering how Kakashi (and others) were having trouble. Then there's Hinata surviving three (?) Shinra Tensei.
In the anime's Three-Tails Arc, Hinata performed the Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms, a minor version of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms.
I'm not exactly sure how this proves she isn't weak. Or at least "better". The above posts points out how much better than Sakura Hinata is and yet at sixteen/seventeen she's only preforming the
minor version of the Trigrams Palm move?
To bad the manga doesn't show her using any.
Hinata has also continued to develop her natural flexibility.
What natural flexibility? I had trouble understanding this one, because I don't recall Hinata showing flexibility. Since it's described as "natural" I'm guessing it's a Hyuga thing?
Hinata has also acquired her own original arsenal. In the anime, she developed the Protection of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms, a technique that can take advantage of her great flexibility and coordination to attack and defend the same time.
I'm not sure where the anime got the idea of Hinata being able to make her own original technique that not only can defend, but attack at the same time. It seemed way beyond her capabilities.
She also displays the Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists technique, which in the anime was able to momentarily overwhelm Neji during their training and had Pain made an effort to dodge.
Her even forcing someone like Pain to dodge is highly unrealistic. I haven't seen the episode where she overwhelmed Neji. I do see the odd episode or two on occasion.
Thing is, the manga has Hinata improving her skills gradually. The anime, instead, has her improving in leaps and bounds.
Manga Hinata doesn't even know any of the Trigram Palm moves and has never been shown to disrupt chakra. She does not have great speed feats and her Taijutsu capablities do not put her high above Sakura's. During the war she is only starting to show us her improvements. She's been shown to progress slowly.
The anime, on the ther hand, gives us an entirely different Hinata.
-The ability to see small objects such as insects. Prehaps this isn't an actually issue in the manga version. We may never know.
-The ability to see Tenketsu (Three-Tails Arc). A difficult task to perform.
-Her attacks are strong enough to snap Pain's Chakra Disruption Blades.
-A Trigram Palm technique. Funny how the manga doesn't show her having one.
-She developed the Protection of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. A technique that seems to proform better that a Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven. Not only is it an "absolute defense", but it can also attack at the same time.
I wouldn't be surprised if it slices, dices and makes Julienne Fries.
The manga doesn't show Hinata having the ability to create such a immense technique. She may not be able to learn the original Revolving technique, but she can make a better one?
-Her excellent chakra control has her able to use Chakra Needles that allows her to focus chakra outside her body and hit small objects. During the Three-Tails Ar she was considered good enough for Medical Nin. As opposed to Ino who was trained as a medical-nin.
So, yeah...
It's fine that the anime wants to make improvements, but not when the do it at ridiculous levels. Anime Hinata is nothing like the one shown in the manga.
Manga Hinata= Improves gradually.
Anime Hinata= Improves in leaps and bounds.
