This They are the green bars under your rank.. well that shows how much you have been repped

It's kind of like credibility. and the amount you give out depends on how many posts you have in the 1000's. eg 1000 posts=1 rep point, 2000 posts=2 rep points. But if you thank someone they automatically get 5 rep points.
