People are always talking about what Hashirama was really like or what the 3rd was like in his prime or what Minato was like before he died, but personally, I wanna know more about the 2nd. I mean, we barely know anything about this guy and yet he's the one that made Edo Tensei, created Space Time Jutsu? (or did he just use it? correct me if I'm wrong), made the class system (genin, chuunin, jounin, anbu, etc.) and supposedly took on a massive amount of ninjas to let his squad get away. To me, he sounds like he was one badass Hokage. Or maybe I'm just forgetting all the stuff that was said on him. Anyone want to state what is already known about him or say what they think he was like (personality and powerwise)?

He was one of the best (if not one of the bests) water users, capable of creating water out of nothing (well, of air, but that does not matter much), his ultimate darkness, where one ninja cannot see anything except use his other senses, making it a powerfull genjutsu technique, and what about the impure resurrection, one of the strongest techniques ever known. He can trace shinobi when he touches the ground.
I think he is underestimated by a lot of people, I dont think he was the strongest hokage, but he was one hell of a ninja.

he was the second best senju after the 1st hokage which means he was probably a beast
-he also had the sword of the thunder god which we have seen is lagit
-his water element jutsu is probably on the same level as kisame(dont rage on me ppl its just a guess)
-he did that two finger thing to the ground to sense enemy ninja thats pretty lagit
Overall he was a beast but i think the reason people never talk about him is because nobody has ever seen him fight
when oro made him an edo that was not his full power and he was not acting on his own will so it was not lagit, we only really got to see his water element stuff and that stuff was pretty cool)

lol you don't like him because he chose hiruzen over danzo as the new kage xd and on top of that, 20 ninja could take down almost any ninja anyday.. plus he sacrificed himself to save his comrades!

Comparing feats, he has the least impressive feats out of all the Hokage. Even Tsunade beats him
Not flaming but i would say that the second far surpasses kisame at water jutsu. The 2nd was said to be a master of water jutsu performing high level techniques with a single hand seal. No has ever compared kisame to the 2nd which if they were on the same level you think 'sooomeone' would have mentioned it at some point.

least impressive? but he is one of the most impressive kages because he is from the leaf village and he can use water! he can also use water to skate on the ground with. he is the creator of edo tensei correct?
that is a pretty interesting point. When someone is good enough at something they're usually compared to someone else. I wouldn't say far surpasses but I think the 2nd Hokage does beat Kisame when it comes to water jutsu. I mean, he is considered the greatest water jutsu user in the Narutoverse, right?
