[Spoilers] New Shichibukai

My personal oppinion is:
Buggie, the Clown: reason is, he got that letter from the government, saying something that shoked Mr.3... Also, makes sence, due to the fame he aquired during the Wightbeard War arc. since everyone disscovered he was in Gol D. Roger's crew, and sees him as a friend of Shanks... Also he has in his crew some of the most wanted men in the world, that escaped Impel Down...

If anyone has an idea, feel free to express it!

Isn't he a little weak to be a Shichibukai ? I think that is the only reason why he wouldn't be Shichibukai. He has the fame to become one xd

If Buggy joined the pirate lords that would be such a joke...not impossible though as it's One Piece and they do love to joke.

Buggy received an invitation from Government, whether he accepted the position or not is yet to be seen.

Afaik, Buggy is the Mr. Satan of One Piece. I wouldn't be suprised if he becomes one of the Yonko in future.

Yeah, I once posted it in one of the discussion threads. When Jinbei got an invitation it was by a bat messenger and Buggy got also such a messenger. Also over 200 escaped prisoners, containing numerous 100M+ bounties, are loyal to him. This would make it easier to keep them all in check.

It has never been said that Buggy was invited. Yes it's highly likely, but still it has never been confirmed.

And no I doubt Moria would for Doflamingo.

I was wondering why Luffy was never invited to be a Shichibukai, but I think its because almost everything Luffy has gotten a bounty for(except for the first one), he has weakened the World government or the marines doing so.

2nd bounty: Defeated Crocodile, a member of Shichibukai, who work for the World Government.

I think 100 million bounty is too little for a shichibukai. Yes there are pirates with less bounty in the shichibukai, but they have experience, and easily could get more bounty.

His 3rd bounty: 300 million. 300 million would surely get him an invitation to the world government, but because Luffy and his crew declared war on the world government by burning down their flag, theres no way World Government would want to invite him, and theres no way he'd accept.

It's not about the strenght, it's about hype.

Buggy is a ex-crew member of Pirate King. He escaped from Impel Down, recruited bunch of high bounty pirates and participated in the War of the Best. He has brotherly relationship with Shanks and during the war he made a temporarily allience with Whitebeard.

Pirates, marines and the whole world sees him as powerful as other yonko's/shichibukai's and that's all that matters.

well, as many of you posted, Buggy indid is not that strong, but he has a strong crew, plus he might have improved during the 2 years... Also, he might not be at a shichibukai level, but he is not that weak either... Even with a crew like that, it's not easy to survive in the Whitebeard war... As for his lack of power, his crew makes up for it... He might aswell replace Moria, they are both clown-like, and relaing on their crew (zombies/criminals)...

As for Moria: I seriously doupt he would ever work for someone other than himself...

all above average pirates know how useless buggy is, the crew that he has now luffy will destroy with one haki move...it is possible that he may join. but i personally think its a waste of position

we cant really say that untill we are fully updated on the wg after the time skip
