Will Naruto assume the shape of the 9 tails?

After the conclusion of 567 we know that the 9 tails is more than likely to assist Naruto in his battle against Tobi. The Bijuu hosts are turning to their full beast modes, not all but some. Naruto is in peril, the fox seems to like Naruto a bit more these days, but more to the point would LOATHE to be defeated by a beast with an inferior number of tails.

So it is safe to say that he will help, it's the method in which this is achieved that will be interesting. Will he give Naruto more power, will he take control of Naruto? OR will he allow Naruto's body to assume the shape of his? Thus putting Naruto in fox mode!

We don't know if this would happen and if it did which of the two would 'pilot' this mode. I think it would be the fox, we haven't seen him in action for a while now.

The rumour will of the last week strongly suggested that the 8th gate would be opened. I bought into the rumour myself as the evidence was compelling.

But, I think the 9 tailed fox's recent showing indicated that it will be the person to turn the tables in this battle. Meaning that (hopefully) there would be no need for Guy to open the 8th gate.

It could still happen, but I think it's less likely?

There is a strong possibility that the Kyuubi will help the Alliance. This has already been strengthened by the Anime opening and the Manga. I would like to see Naruto transform into the Kyuubi like B though.

Even if naruto was able to transform into the ninetails, I think he would have to put the ninetails in the drivers seat because he does not know how to use the TBB. I think it would be sick to see the ninetails in his full form kicking ass.

I think its still a bit too soon for Naruto to gain "Kyuubi Transformation". He's only just starting to get the feel for his human Kyuubi mode with just raw chakra.

Also, the Kyuubi has a HUGE disadvantage to going full fox mode, he has 50% of his total chakra locked up in the death seal. Now whether or not that matters depends how powerful he really is.

I still think he would be more powerful than the other beasts. Possibly not the 8 tails.

But like I said, it's the way you are interpreting the word help. I have explained what I mean. Yes, the fox is not stealing chakra, which would kill Naruto. But the Kyuubi needs Naruto (i think) as it would be too easy for Tobi & Edo Madara to do what he has done in the past and you know TAKE CONTROL OF HIM.

That's why he needs Naruto, at least one reason. The fox might actually start to like Naruto and be losing his hatred. But we cannot confirm that.

The Kyuubi already likes Naruto. The pages of Kyuubi's flash back with Naruto talking are proof of that. Naruto said those rings and the Kyuubi stopped taking his chakra. The reason the Kyuubi hasn't gone any further is because it believes that there is no need to bother, with Naruto in peril the Kyuubi has no other option than to give another boost to Naruto. And after KM will all know what is there, Nine Tails transformation.

And I just made a post with 5 times Kyuubi on it, six with this one.

He'll give him power I think, or take control and somehow communicate with the other Bijuu. We have already seen one of them go renegade. Maybe more could be persuaded to do so?

As for proof, as in that's the end of the matter we have found a definitive answer. I disagree, it's hinting at it. Not conclusively stating that the fox likes Naruto and is close to changing his ways.

The fox hates Naruto less or likes him a little bit more, he is starting to respect him more. He is willing to assist in battle now. But it is not a reformed beast, not by a long shot, there's alot of hatred left in that fox. Believe me.

The fox respected the power of Madara, but loathed him at the same time. Don't forget that.
