I think that he will die, not that he should die. We've already seen a pretty enormous 8 gates attack when Gai battled Kisame, WHEN he pushes himself that hard again it will happen. I just hope that tobi is not able to phase through it and Gai doesn't die in vain.

I just watched the episode where Kakashi is "killed" by Pain, I really don't want him to die for real this time. :| Same goes to Gai, but if they are to die hopefully they get something great out of it.

TBH, I can only see the outcomes like this:

Guy dies, Kakashi lives and everyone lives.
Kakashi dies, everyone dies.

I think he's only there to rescue Naruto and take him some place else.

8 Tails + 8 Gates should be more than enough to take down the Jinks.

But Naruto + Kakashi need to gtfo, before Tobi gets serious.

Nagato could only bring back people who had died within a short amount of time. Jiraiya died like days before Pain had attacked the Leaf Village. For Kabuto, as stated before, he needed DNA, which he did not have.

If you could read a page or two before that comment you will see why I think that is not true.

Remember Madara believed at first he was brought back by Nagato rebirth jutsu? He called Nagato a kid at that point so Madara has been dead for a few years atleast but still thought Nagato brought him back with that jutsu which to me shows there isn't a limited amount of time for the rebirth jutsu to work.

Fake Madara is about to kill Kakashi, when Guy activates the eight gate, the gate of death. This will save kakashi, but not kill or beat fake Madara, but Madara will MAYBE retreat or something. Then Guy will die in kakashi's arms

Well that's half true . Jiraiya might be at the end of the sea but kabuto did say if he had one of pain weapons inwhich was used to kill jiraiya he could revive him.
@Takeruki - The kyubi cloak then is not the same as the kyubi chakra because the cloak had the fox's mind so it was pretty much like two people fighting but now naruto is using only the chakra and controlling instead of IT protecting him.

I know this is very late in saying this and probably many people have said it, which I haven't seen

BUT

I just realised something, when Nagato brought everyone back to life with his rebirth jutsu in the leaf village

We assumed Jiraiya couldn't be brought back to life because of three things

1. He had an epic death and it would seem unfair for him to be brought back to life (which I agree but if Kishi had a better plan then I believe it would work)
2. He is deep below the ocean etc
3. It was some time before Nagato used the rebirth jutsu, so we assumed Jiraiya had already moved on.

Now here is why he could be brought back to life

To the 2. when I said he is deep below the ocean.

When Nagato killed a lot of people with his almight universal push. A lot of bodies wouldn't of stayed intact etc so if Jiraiya was brought back to life maybe he was brought back on top of the water surface or he could of been brought back to life and quickly summoned gamabunta and went into his mouth or used gamabunta to get out of the water, or something of the sort!
From there he could of said to the Toad Sage or one of the frogs or just gamabunta to not say his alive so he can do whatever he has to do behind the shadows

3. It seems to be proven, in my point of view that there isn't a limited time where the rebirth jutsu will work because the REAL Madara thought he was brought back at first by Nagato rebirth jutsu and it obvious Madara was dead for a few years minimum atleast because he referred Nagato has a kid still.

So that can show Jiraiya could of still been brought back to life like that

Yes his death was truly great but I think if Kishi were to bring him back it would be in style, plus it would be good for Tsunade to get her man back lol

Naruto is only now getting real battel exp in this war which is y he is getting his ass kicked also he is using up his and the fox chackra jackassingly but he will learn
if naruto use sage mode will it replenish the fox chackra
i think guy will be the one to break the mask of toby:kakashi destract tobi,Naruto clone up all tricksy like grab tobi Melon head guy Gate up and break that MoFoing mask,if that mask is whats helping him control the jinchuriki riningan he will loose control then B will seal their punk asses unless tobi is controling them with the sharingan and using the riningan for the shared field vision.

U said that theres no limited time to the rebirth jutsu because Madara thought he was brought back by Nagato, and reffered him as a kid ... BUT u must remember that only a second has passed after someone dies and is brought back again ... Madara couldn't possibly know what time it is ... he probably thought only a minute or hour went by since his death.

And as u said about Jiraya, that he was maybe brought back ... his probably still dead .. i know its only an idea, but hear me out here ...

1: as u said, he had an awesome death.
2: bottom of the sea
3: As Nagato said in chapter 449 : " Its still time to save those i killed when i came to konoha ... thats the least i can do" ...

Jiraya is dead ... its sad, but thats the truth ...
