just something i came up with

iight, i was sitting on the toilet when this idea came into my head.

we all know danzo has hashiram parts in him, and that was given by oro.

now, i think danzo, oro, shisui and itachi were in league. they devised a plan to protect konoha, itachi would kill uchiha, preventing coup. that was his part. shisui, following his beliefs that some heroes operate from behind, gave up his eyes: one to danzo and one to itachi for the genjutsu.

oro then started the illegal experiments so danzo could house all the sharingan he had without problems. however, knowing hiruzen would never go with it, they kept it a secret from him. after finding out and confronting oro(hiruzen did this), oro decided to keep it a secret and pretended to be this criminal(like itachi) and fled, but when confronted by jiraiya, neither could go all out(jirayia with sage mode, oro with his giant serpent) and oro came out the victor, but spared jiraiya's life.

after so long of being away from konoha, oro decided to keep on doing his experiments, but use the benefits for himself, the result him being deranged and turning into the snake form. then, he was was confronted by danzo, who told him that hiruzen's beliefs were ruining their plan with his peaceful ways, as danzo believed they needed strength. danzo devised a plan that oro would kill hiruzen and use destroying konoha and the chunin exams as a cover (danzo also hated hiruzen). with itachi gone and shisui dead, danzo's personal plans would go without a hitch. while executing his plan, oro took a liking for sasuke's body(no homo) and he branded him with a curse mark. danzo, seeing this as a boost for sasuke, allowed it since he believed it would carry out itachi's plans as dying by sasuke's hands. seeing that there was no immediate threat or need for his powers, he didnt apply for fifth. but when sasuke betrayed oro, danzo got to work to complete further plans. seeing that sasuke might be a threat, he began working to becoming sixth. after the news sasuke allied with akatsuki and was plotting to destroy konoha, danzo finally took out his plans to become hokage, leading up to the events we see now

Damn this is a decent theory! Oro seems like a typical "good girl gone bad".

Would be great if someone would make huge theory on Oro considering all the past events. We know for sure Oro's motive wasn't just "I want to know all jutsus!". That's a bit stupid and childish. If anything he probably was set on becoming next SO6P or atleast gaining his power.

How is Oro a good guy? He tried to destroy Konoha and killed the 3rd Hokage? I dont think Danzo hated Hiruzen they were more like rivals. Meh I really doubt your theory but hey anything is possible..

it's a very interesting theory. we definitely need to see more of the danzo/oro connection. the raikage definitely suspected that danzo was linked to the konoha invasion.

however, danzo also tried to kill sasuke while he was training with orochimaru (to stop him from gaining the sharingan i assume, although oro probably wanted sasuke for his potential to gain ems and then rinnegan, if he helped danzo put 10 sharingan in his arm). so he attempted to betray orochimaru before that if they were in league.

also, orochimaru attempted to absorb itachi before that, so if there was some sort of alliance it broke down pretty early.

Danzou wanted to crush the current rulers and remake Konoha into his own thing, so he sought out help from Orochimaru in order to use all the Sharingans he harvested after the massacre. Shisui didn't give him his eye, Danzou stole it.

Orochimaru didn't leave because he was "pretending to be a criminal", he left because he was pissed about being turned down as Hokage and because he was killing Konoha shinobi with his experiments. Danzou also expressed outright disgust at Itachi's pacifist ways in his fight with Sasuke...even Itachi's intentions eventually came out. Danzou had been plotting for too long against Hiruzen for this to work.

Good theory, but it's not really based on fact...and there are too many factors shown in the manga to dispute this.

yes, since oro and itachi did their parts and left, i think oro started to make his own plans, and one of them just happened to be absorbing an uchiha body and itachi was closest(plus not a lot of uchiha left and he was in league with itachi so he knew of his power
