Hi guys,
Was bored and thought of this and wanted to hear your story. Have you ever worked for a game forum before? Doesn't matter which one it was just want to hear your story.
Have you worked for any forum whatsoever? Doesn't matter if it was short either.
My story:
Warning: It's REALLY long. Read at your own discretion.

I used to be a member of a famous online mmorpg called Fiesta. I played o the original for about 2 years I think. I spent a lot of money then. Partly because I was working at a good job and making good money. But then I became turned off because although it was free, in order to be good you had to purchase form the item mall which cost a lot of money.
I decided to quit but was unsure of where to go. I didn't wan to go looking for another game. The ones I would find all had a more mature theme which I thought was lame. That was until I was reading the forums that I saw the word "private server". I mean I had heard it before but was unsure what it really was.
SO I went to investigate and liked what I found. I played this private server called Athens. I played for a couple months until they were shut down due to copyright infringement. A couple months later I joined this low quaslity server called Pintos. It sucked until I found about another server, Telaria. It was tons better. I pleayed there for a while and became one of the first moderators there. After a couple months I was promoted to Game Manager. I was in charge of the Admins & Moderators and keeping people in line.
Was the most diverse but fullfilling job I have ever done. I loved helping our community grow. We had very talented artists and knowledgeable staff. I say my work days were 8-16 hour days for 7 days a week. I did that nonstop for about 6 months I think until we went to open beta.
Then the rain fail....U_U
We released the game too early and we were filled with bugs and complaints. We handled what we could but eventually we couldn't do it anymore. We lost some staff members as well because all the drama that ensued. Me and the guy who was running the site (like Versuvio's job) decided to close the game and reopen as a totally new game. Start fresh but not at the way bottom. But I went on a week break because my boyfriend went on a family reunion(he was a moderator and dev (developer). When I came back he was gone and changed his email.
So...then I found Narutobase and have been here ever since August.
Sorry for the long story. D:
